According to the Wall Street Journal: "Mr. Romney's plan would reduce taxes significantly for high-income earners (by 6.9% or $146,000 for households making more than $1 million), and increase federal deficits by $180 billion in 2015 compared to current tax levels."
According to the Associated Press: "Households making between $50,000 and $75,000 would get small tax cuts, averaging 2.2 percent, or about $250. People making more than $1 million would get tax cuts averaging 15 percent, or about $146,000."

Just like I thought.. Romney should send Perry a Boston lobster or two for staying in the race and dividing the conservative vote. If Romney wins SC, game over.

A new Public Policy Polling survey in South Carolina finds: Romney 30%, Gingrich at 23%, Rick Santorum at 19%, Ron Paul at 9%, Rick Perry at 5%, Jon Huntsman at 4%, and Buddy Roemer at 1%.
Key findings: "There are two things that taken together might make it possible for Santorum to upset Romney in South Carolina. ~ The first is both Gingrich and Perry dropping out. Gingrich's voters prefer Santorum over Romney 52-37 and Perry's do by a 54-41 margin. Either of them dropping out would give Santorum a big boost. ~ The other thing that would give Santorum the potential for an upset is a Jim DeMint endorsement. 31% of voters say his nod would make them more likely to vote for a candidate."
