What the heck is going on downtown today?

The area surrounding Union college - actually extending down to Erie Boulevard, was all blocked off.  People seemed to be walking around.  There was a mass of cars and people at the ALCO parking lot.

Yeah just saw that - and that was definitely what was going on near ALCO.

However there was something else going on further up hill.  Roads closed and people walking, seemingly with similar outfits on.  Like some charity walk or something.

Pinhead Susans Block Party.  'The gathering of the drunks'.  It's the least the McDonald's can do, they are sweethearts of the Metroplex/Democrat establishment.

Ya, your business is proof of that.  It's so "alive and well" you moved out of your office and haven't reopened a public office since.

Viva la Renaissance!

It was bigger than that.  I was on Nott street and wanted to take a left onto  Wendell.  It was blocked.  So was Seward.  And people could not turn onto Nott St from Erie.  It was blocked there too.  Someone leaving Golub's new HQ building could not take a left onto Nott, they were forced to go onto Erie.

Yes way. Great planning by the tree graters at DSIC! $10 to see Solid Smoke? Only in Schenectady.

Even though the Nattering Nayboobs of Negativity are crying in their sippy cups ... Schenectady's Renaissance continues.
We won't let a few dirty-diaper babies spoil our sense of community pride and the forward momentum of our community's improvement and growth.

The well thought out plans for a kids festival on Jay Street when 5 sex offenders live on that street (three, Level 2 sex offenders and 2 Level 3 sex offenders living right between Ambition and the Open Door).

Maybe Proctors should open their doors and do this community event for kids inside.

I have to say this: Why would ANYONE have a kid's festival located on a small walkway where 5 sex offenders live? Why would you create an environment where children feel 'safe' (being it's a festival for them), where children are around plenty of strangers and yet the area is specifically NOT safe for children to be in?

This fallacy of Schenectady being in a Renaissance and being a child-friendly place is ignorance beyond anyones imagination. This is total irresponsibility.

Tell us DV, tell us about the renaissance.

Tell us about the property values
Tell us about the taxes
Tell us about the crime rate
Tell us about the road conditions
Tell us how long houses sit for sale
Tell us how many houses have sold
Tell us about about the double taxing of trash colleciton
Tell us about the school system
Tell us about the sales tax revenue

Well??????     Tell us about these items and how it is reflective of a so-called renaissance.

Can you do that??????     You won't answer these questions because it will prove there is no renaissance.

Tell us about the $5 million Proctors allegedly took in and the alleged $15 million that the businesses downtown allegedly got.  Where is that mioney going?   Where are the good paying jobs?????

Why are the financially struggling homeowners paying the tazes of businesses that are allegely raking in millions??????    Tell us DV, tell us.
