Anyone try the new chicken place at the old Brandywine Diner? I'm kind of afraid to. Is it a chain, does anyone know?
Nope.
Me too. Ya won't see me or other folks I know there either. Scary area!!
Nope.

I am Catholic .. but I have never qualified that by saying I was good or better than anyone else.
The parish has a deacon serving as parish life coordinator but does not have a new priest.
And -- from your post .. you are the one who sounds rather judgemental.
Judgemental I don't know. It's just you always feel the need to call people negative, feel the need to bring "mental illness" into your posts.....
As for priest or deacon, dosen't matter : )
You paint Sch'dy all roses and glitter, again I offer to you to visit my home here on the hill during the hot summer months and see what "living' here is really like.
Now if you do take me up on the offer, I suggest you learn how to drop to the ground quickly, as you will never know when gunshots will ring out. Had to teach my kids that since they were young, and YOU are never to old to learn.

I used to go there at night when it was Brandywine Diner, yeah I used to see some winners go in there. Many times it would be the drunks from the bar a few houses over. Worst one was a guy walking in with his junk out like nothing was wrong, the workers argued with him for a good 5-6 minutes just to get him to leave. I got to give the former owners of that place credit, they must of put up with a lot of crap over the years staying open 24 hours a day. I'm even amazed Petas is still open in that location, they lose a lot of business just because of the area their in.

I've experienced the traffic tie-ups mentioned. It's only certain times of day, but it must be a real headache for those who need to travel at those times. Backed up traffic at the lights blocks people from turning in or out of businesses. Anyone try the new chicken place at the old Brandywine Diner? I'm kind of afraid to. Your DEM morons at work. More traffic "calming"-removing 2 lanes of traffic-a turn lane which becomes an emergency passing lane. When a bus is on State St it backs up traffic for blocks. All the remaining business are complaining. When you remove traffic you permanently remove customers. Use Albany Street.
The chicken place is no chain. No chain would relocate to that dangerous part of Brandywine. Used to be two great diners. Alot of things in Schenectady used to be.
