Just look at the whole picture.

The armory goes up for sale in tax delinquent auction.....taxpayers abandon because of high taxes in the  city and even tax auctions can't get anyone interested

Olenders closing, that building will have to be up for sale.

Was that county building on Erie Blvd put up for sale?

Then that Chez Daisie put up for sale

And now the Parker Inn for sale

And that's after the taxpayers had to twice bail out the VanDyck

And the taxpayers had to bail out the Police academy

So, the dem team take taxpayers money to forgive the tax delinquents, use tax dollars (thus taking tas money away from NECESSARY VITAL ESSENTIAL SERVICES) for wasteful projects that become failures and then the taxpayers have to bail out those projects.

SO, if there's no buyer for the Parker, then what?  Taxpayers are stuck

But DV claims this is all so wonderful.  The city is in a renaissance.

Yeah, DV, tell us how the city is getting better will you?   Or do you just respond with a yawn and other nonsense because you're TOO CHICKEN to address the issue....tell us DV, what has the money done for the city?/????    Tell us how the spending downtown has helped the homewoners?   Tell us what happened to the tax bills?   What has happened to the proeprty values?   What has happened to the crime rate?   Etc?

People need to wake up, stop listening to the nonsense of the dems  and see that that the tax dollars are being wasted and it is NOT helping the city one bit.   Sure it's nice to to to Proctors, we go occasionally, but a family of four cannot afford it (unless they pay for nosebleed seats).   And the rich people that do spend money on the overpriced tixets, that money goes into Morris' pocket so he can high tail it ouf of the depressed over taxed crime ridden city, a city losing vital services quickly.

I'll be interested in knowing what that buyer of the elegant historic house in the GE Plot grieved his assessement.  Becuas the fact is---and DV, you cannot, YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOPT DISUPUTE THIS  --- the spending of money downtown has resulted in HUGE drop in property values in the city, and people do NOT want to move here.

Then the DEM morons wonder why they they can't afford to pave the streets. The entire DEM/Metrograft house has collapsed. Anyone that wants to increase the Metrograft debt limit again should be run out of town on a rail.

Here's another great story. OTB is closing a City parlor. Another hit to City revenues. All OTB money goes to the City-not County. What's up with Mexican Radio?

On the first line of the Parker Inn legal notice, after the Supreme Court heading, it clearly states "NOTICE OF SALE".   Sale is scheduled for 5/31, 10AM at the Sch'dy County Courthouse.

The owner of Olender is looking for another job. There is no business Downtown. There is no retail Downtown. Parker Inn is for sale. The bistro lowered her price $50,000 and still NOTHING, Not one offer. Armory cannot get any offers. It can only be used by SCCC but Death Ray wants to build new.

But don't fret-the State is flushing millions on that Y bus terminal park. That should spark some life-ROTFLMAO!! Downtown is in total free fall. Every Metrograft project stinks. No one is repaying anything to Death Ray. But you still have one DEM moron claiming "renaissance".

I can agree with you to a point on the armory.   But no one wants to come into the city unless they get the taxpayers to fund them
Olenders?   Well, children usually take over the business or the business is sold.  BUt remember, THE TAXES ARE TOO DAMN HIGH in Schenectady.....or do YOU, SB, do YOU dispute that the taxes are too high?   Do you prefer that families with incomes of $30,000 pay even more taxess---while exempting the millionaires from paying?????

Chez Daisie, ok, so the owner wants to get into something else.  Tell us SB, tell us about the long lines of people enthused about buying the business in this failing city????   City of HIGHEST CRIME.   Tell us how many people are linned up to buy it?????    Huh????????

According to the newspaper ad, it's for sale.  What do the words "for sale" mean then?

The van dyck, I guess you are going to tell us the taxpayers never lost any money on it?????

And WHY did Mr Morris take the taxpayers money and leave the city????????

SB, can you tell us what has happened to taxes ON THE HOMEOWNERS since Metroplex got going???????>    Can you tell us what the trash fee was BEFORE the dems got in?????    Can you tell us WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY, when Al Jurzynski proposed a trash fee, the 100% dem city council said "no way" but when the dem mayor got in and proposed THE SAME TRASH FEE as Jurzynski....can you tell us WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY the dem council OVERWHELMINGLYU said YES to  HUGE tax increase, saying this fee woud be the saving grace of the city????????    Huh???????    Huh???????

Tell us what has happened to the rate of violent crime since metroplex.....and be sure to provide some proof when you claim it's going down.

Tell us what has happened to the property values since metroplex projects resulted in HUGE HUGE HUGE increases in taxes

Tell us about all the houses for sale, can you do that?????/    Can you provide any proof to showq that houses are selling for above their assessed value??????

According to the MLS the bistro has now dropped the price $50,000! Still no takers. Rotsa Ruck recovering a nickle on the Van Dyke. Do the words closed out second mean anything? And the DEM morons let it happen again at The Parker. For Sale doesn't mean for sale only if a DEM moron say so.

I think part of the issue with the bistro is that it's not bricks and mortar, they're selling the "business" only, which must remain in that location (already proven to be a money LOSER) - with a set of unrealistic requirements and expectations of the new buyer.

If it included brick and mortar, and without restrictions, it'd go over a bit well with a buyer - with one proviso: The "asking price" not be raised. I think it's now $39k ... which is base for a semi-profitable property and a business that hasn't already failed once (or more)
