while not elected she was appointed - thus the post in politics

with the gallery out of control during tonites town board meeting

our deputy clerk had enough of the out of control crowd
and
as a town resident was about to do the unthikable - pull the microphone cable out of the wall to stop another resident from speaking

Michele Gannon stood leaned far over the dais and FIRMLY said something like         Dont Touch That

this action was just what was needed to allow the supervisor to slowly gain control the room

it is actions like this that crosses party lines that will get this town out of 1970

Michele was defending the interestes of a conservitive who had the right to speak and she was defending the rights of all the residents who step up to speak

GREAT JOB   - Michele

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Over at the county meetings they simply have one of their cronies who sits off to the side dabble with the volume to drown out the republican speakers, or if that is not convenient they just have their soldiers down at OSM put a placard over their faces and turn the sound off. Gobbels runs that operation so political suppression is done much more professionally.

Only if you live somewhere that you're not sharing part of the tax burden...  We pay good money for the antics happening over at Town Hall.  I thought watching the Memorial Day Parade tonight actually showed how things happen in Town Hall nowadays.  When it came time for the Town Board to walk by, you had FDG and BG walking side by side, with MM following about 3 steps behind.  In other cultures, he probably would have been wearing a burkha.  Someone said that they saw WC somewhere else, but I didn't see him, and there was absolutely no sign of ND anywhere.

You then had the 4 D4 legislators, then GA, HF and Jim Tedisco (no clue what he was doing there, since he doesn't represent Rotterdam at all) all walking side by side.

You mean they didn't issue Matt his burkha in time for tonight's parade? Must be at Henry's drycleaners (oh shucks that is right- another city business OUT OF BUSINESS.)

Despite quietly whispering to one or two close acquaintances in no way associated with the Town, hours in advance of the parade, that she had business to tend to during the parade, much to the dismay of ND, the parade began without her.  She then rushed over to Curry Road (careful to obey all rules of the road and not exceed the speed limit, also stopping to pick up a hitchhiker), to find that the parade had started without her.  Weary of backlash, she did what any logical person in her shoes would do, she scrambled to find the nearest newspaper reporter to explain her side of the story.  Aftera frantic search, she located the gazette reporter and told him that she was left "with more questions than answers" as to why the Town would be so inconsiderate as to begin the Memorial Day parade in her absence.  When he questioned this, she became defiant and screamed really loudly in his ear, about how she told everyone decades, even centuries in advance that she would be busy on May 26, 2011 and how dare they start the parade without her!!!!!  She is the victim here!!  When asked what her ""urgent business"" was, she became further enraged and indicated that she would have voted "yes" for Memorial Day if she had been given the opportunity.  The gazette reporter, fearful for his safety and concerned for his personal well being, will be explaining NDs side of the story in tomorrow's paper.
