My guess is the NYS 'Godfather' of BOTH parties is pissed with their offspring and the money trail.....mobile media of the masses will strip them of their seat cushions...

RON PAUL can you hear the drum beat....it gets louder......who shall stand for that platform in NYS? Schenectady? Rotterdam?

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Thank you, FJ, GL and BS. There is only one thing that I have ever received for anything that I have stood at that podium and spoken, and that is the satisfaction that I have done it. The fact is that this is one of the ways that that the citizens have to speak out to their elected officials, whether they voted for them or not, and if you remember correctly, it hasn't mattered who was on that board at the times I have been speaking whether I went with their ideas or against.  I listened to the issues, and spoke on what I thought was the best for the townspeople, of course, I being one of those.  It is by standing up at these meetings that we can make ourselves heard.  Some people think that this is the part of the meetings each time that are a waste of time.  I personally feel that this is the most important part of the meetings.  This is also where the town board should be paying attention to find out what should be considered for the next meeting.  It is here that residents have the opportunity to speak on any subject, whether it was in contained in the meeting or not, and can then be considered for future meetings.

I will admit that I was previously on the wrong side of some issues, but that is why the town / county / state are run by groups of people, and not a single, sole person.  Also, all these people are given the opportunity to listen, as well as give their input on a situation prior to a vote being taken.

Also, while I haven’t specifically stated as of yet whether I am interested or not, I will let you know here first that I am contemplating the possibilities that may arise.  I know that it’s time for new blood to come in and we need people that will actually listen, and not just go by party lines.  I understand that’s one thing that may hurt me, needing to vote along party lines, but personally, I think you need to review the actual issue, not just ask someone how you should feel before voting.

By the way, just wondering who may have actually mentioned that I AM interested?  Not saying that I am or am not, I'm currently weighing my options, but I'm wondering where in the rumor mill this is coming from.

I question Mr. March's judgement and character if he decides to run this year as a candidate
with one of the two (or more) Republican party factions.  Better to position himself for a run
in the future when the party is, once again, unified.

I can understand how someone may think that way, but how long should one wait?  Why not have someone run, who may have some of the ideals of both sides in order to bring the sides together?  If you wait until all agree, when would anyone run?

I agree with Kevin... He is the best fit right now. He is not associated with either supposed faction and maybe an outsider is just what the committee needs. Someone who will stand up for what is right instead of pandering to one side or the other.

So posting a resolution calling for a meeting to endorse an unnamed candidate is your evidence? Regardless of who I supported in that race it seems to me that the best way to get beyond this nonsense is that everyone agree on a third person...Isn't that how compromise works? When my wife and I argue over something at the end of the day we generally end up compromising on something so we both win a little and lose a little...shouldnt the same happen here!?

Really?  I don't think you have ever compromised with your wife.  As for you and your fellow GP cheerleaders, explain to me why GP isn't even being considered to take AL's vacated spot?  It's because GP is toxic and his involvment means the GOP will alienate more and more people.  I am only now getting involved because he is out.

See Zorro this is the problem...some of us are trying to make a compromise and move on and some people like yourself just want to bash people...

I am hearing rumors of several of those in the "Parisi faction" changing party enrollments.  Does anyone have any knowledge of this?
I think that one of the names was Mr. Signore.

I heard that too.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

So will rems support kevin for town board, like kevin supported rems and perhaps may even get a job with rems since he has the 'expertise', as he stated, in medical billing?

hmmmmmmmmm.............cozy!

Zorro...u r an idiot.  U have been involved for a long time.  Gp could win if he ran and i think everyone knows that.  U just. Hate him cause u r a very jealous person.

Bt...u supot ind candidates but not march...if its not somebody u select u dont support him!  Sounds like u r a hypocrate but we kinda already know that.

Oh one more thing...i didnt know signore was part of the gp faction...interesting.  Maybe gp is having his whole group switch away from the backstabbers like amedore...sounds like if that happens the repubs will be extrememly weak.  But since. There are alot of huge egomaniacs there they should be ok with losing every race this year.

No hypocrite here greeny. Just askin a question. And since rotterdam is known to be historically a gumba family and friends quaint little town, and since Kevin was first AGAINST A REMS TAXING DISTRICT, then after talking with TD, surprisingly changed his mind FOR THE TAXING DISTRICT.....while inner twined in all this, Kevin loses his job and offers rems his 'paid' medical billing services.

I think we can all agree that it would appear that Kevin would just be 'old rotterdam politics as usual'!!! Ya know....tit for tat!! I'll scratch your back and you scratch mine.

Hey......just sayin'...........k?
