Yep, between the street people downtown, the gun-toting robbers and shooters, we have today

SCHENECTADY -- A man was detained Sunday afternoon after a chase through the Electric City's downtown, police and witnesses said.

State Police detained the man -- whose name was not immediately available -- for questioning related to an unknown incident in Saratoga County. State Police recognized the man's vehicle and gave chase, according to Schenectady Police Sgt. Matthew Dearing.

The man was apprehended in the back entrance to the Proctors Arcade, a witness said, around 2:30 p.m. The theater was hosting a dance recital Sunday afternoon.

"I saw them running toward the back side of the arcade, and they had the guy face down putting the cuffs on him," said Bill Ward, 53, a retired Guilderland Police officer. "It was an interesting addition to the day."

Dearing said the case was being handled by Troopers. They could not be reached for comment Sunday evening.

You just CAN'T speak about the issues, can you.   Taxpayer money blown on downtown while taxes are the highest around, properly values plummeting, crime up, people trying to flee but unable to sell their homes because no one wants to move into the city, and then even the roads are in the worst possible shape.

How is it there is no money to fix roads but there is money to exempt all the millionaires and billioniares downtown from paying taxes. Hell, most don't even live in the city.

Carry on conversation for once will you?   How to you justify raising taxes on the financially struggling homeonwers while their property values are going down, they are unable to sell there houses, the roads are crumbling, downtown has it's share of bums and guns, but you want to give money in a variety of ways to millionaires.

WHY can't someone who is a millioniare should be exempt from property taxes, but people who struggle trying to live on $30,000 a year should have to bear the burden to make up the difference.  Oh, of course, you hve no clue because you don't pay taxes, you hae absolutely no idea what it's like

Ronny's too much of a wimp to carry on a sane conversation and answer the tough questions - with his OPINION.  He's good at spouting the party line, but that's about where the vocabulary ends.

Oh, so a person who opposed socialist gin mills, a person who feels that it's unfair to make families earning $30,000 pay the property taxes of the millionaires and millionaires, is unreasonable.

Honest?   I am TOTALLY HONEST, I do not LIE.  I speak the truth about the city, I am TOTALLY HONEST in telling everyone about what goes on in Schenectady.  AND I have proof that I am totally hontest.  I have provided all kinds of supportive infomration direct from official government records.

You,l on the other hand, continue to tell lies, you never provide any proof of the things you say....and that's because you are not being honest, you tell lies.

Why is the website a joke?????    Transparency in goverment in a joke to you???????    Huh?????     Huh?????????

You really have a major problem with people learning about and divulging the truths about what goes on in the city.    The rest of us have the intelligence to look up what's going on, and it is extremely important, it is of THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE that each an d every resident of the city be informed that there money has been usedc to pay the property taxes of millionairea dn billionaires downtown while ignoring the roads and while ignoring crime.

Do you have a problem with the residents knowing what their money is really going to????????

Hey, DV, since you have no job, why don't you spend your time walking through the city and seeing what people suffer wtih.  Oh, too much of chicken that you'll get shot perhaps.

Well, go have your fun playing on the computer all night, and then sleeping late trying to get your beauty sleep.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

And the liberals say that it is the right that are the cheerleaders for the rich!!
NOPE..............the liberals have this one all locked up!!

Difference.....the right wants EVERYONE to have the chance to earn a paycheck and be as rich as they want. That drives capitalism.

The liberals want only the chosen few from the friends and family club to earn a paycheck and be as rich as they want. The rest of society they keep dumbed down!!! That drives socialism.
