The nice thing is that DV will never win ANY seat, EVERRRRRRRRRRR

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I'm not praising him by any means, BUT, his metroplex idea did NOT include exempting all the downtown places from ever paying property taxes.  And the PROOF of that, DV, is in looking at OFFICIAL RECORDS where the earlier metroplex projects had generally only partial exemptions for a specfiied number of years.  But YOUR SOCIALIST dems have handed out 100% (and greater) property tax exemptions WITH NO END DATE!

Now, explain DV, HOW, tell us HOW can financially struggling homeowners pay every increasing tax bills because  the taxes of the millionaires were shifted to the financially struggling homeowners?

And WHY are you not moving into the city?????    Why do you REFUSE to answer that question.  You praise the city so much, but YOU, the BIG HYPOCRITE, are not buying a house in the city.   Why not????     WHy to you praise a city that you refuse to live in??????   Would you answer that question or are you too chicken.

This is true, MC, but he was also the major proponent on the board for years of giving away free money to Proctors, who is currently in the process of buying up downtown, so the parts that haven't got the tax breaks are going to be owned by Proctors, officially a non-profit and paying no taxes.

You definitely have a point there Kev.   But do you think, "way back when" that any ever imagined the big elaborate Broadway shows coming for month long runs?

That's a good thing.   Can you imagine a county or town legislature with DV as part of it, and with the citizens coming to speak, he just opens his mouth,  taps his hand lightly over his mouth, with a yawning sound !!!!

Not only would DV not ever WIN a seat on any legislative body, he wouldn't wouldn't even consider running.   Maybe he dreams of it, but in reality he would never take any steps to run.  That requires public disclosure and he would be far too embarrassed for the turth to come out, no job, not a taxpayer, living of the taxpayers, etc.   And if it was the county he ran for, then it would be intersting what his answer would be to how the highest taxes and incredibly high crime rate are indicative of a city making a grand return to greatness.

I don't know, but I'm not talking "way back when."  In fact, if you're looking at "way back when," I'm talking about the last time I was actually at a county meeting when I heard Bob speak about how important it was to give funds anually to Proctors, and I think that may have been towards the end of 2009.  And if "way back when," they already had these shows coming, then how come we needed to continue to give Proctors the money?  Why can't they make it on their own, and when will they be able to?

If Morris has his way Proctors will be a tax free nonprofit forever, that's why Jamestown threw him out of their city.

Oh I am sure. You did so well. You need to start being realistic about your own limitations and failures. No one will ever elect you to any office no matter how irrelevant the position is, and no matter how much the enrollment advantage is in your favor. You really just don't have the slightest bit of what it takes. Someone needs to level with you instead of enabling you to dream impossible dreams, You could start by holding a job for more than a few months if you want to re-shape your wasted life.

I am sure that it is too late for you to accomplish anything in your life if you actually sit there and fantasize that voters would ever consider putting you in office.

The thing is .. I know what I have accomplished during my life .. students that I have taught that have gone on to good careers,  persons that I have counseled and ministered to -- that have enjoyed more joyful -- faith-filled lives or been comforted in the last stages of their lives,   families that have been saved from financial ruin because of the insurance or financial plans that I have put together for them .. and the institutions that I have supported financially and through my volunteer efforts that will continue to do good for years after I am gone from this earth.

Your words and the words of meaningless prats like MC don't discourage me .. because I have the love of family and friends -- and that means much more to me than holding any elective office.    But - if I should decide to run for public office again .. I will win.

Back to the subject of this thread -- Mr. Farley added little of substance to the County Legislature .. he seemedto love to hear himself drone on and on.    They could have made a ton of popcorn with the hot air that he generated at each County Leg meeting.

Farley-envy. Savage-istis.

It's over folks. She lost and he's not running again. Not only did Savage have some horrible PR people, but her timing was a year off.

This same comment could be made about just about every single member of the County Legislature.

Nah ... we have a lot of good people on the County Leg ... and not just the Democratic members ..  I actually like Mr. Buhrmaster very much -- we may not always agree but he is a very decent guy.

Mr. Farley never impressed me much ..  and he goes out of his way to disagree for the sake of disagreeing --he doesn't have 1/1,000th of the finesse and likeability that his Dad once had.
