no.....we exterminate ourselves.......we age...we die....end of story.......plan plan plan....accept accept accept....

a senior center aka 'retirement center' is a luxury that we cant afford...maybe our fancy schools should do more to teach about what happens to us as we age so we dont run into this dumb
conversation over and over and over and over again like it's new every time......

lie #7: you're only 17/25/35etc you have a long way to go dont be in a hurry.

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

The center has
'perks" there for a certain "connected" few.....and why fundraisers there???......not exactly on the up and up if
you are an employee of the Town....isn't it  understood that an employee cannot accept more than $25.00 at a
clip....?? ...... is the word funraiser a way around that?????...and why there.....yes...close it.....it's not working and that's too bad.....some of the programs are not for the "frail".....and "nursing home" candidates.....

Bottom line is that rotterdam clearly does not need, nor should the taxpayers continue to pay for this senior gossip center. It may have had it's place 'in it's day'....but that is not the case any longer. Seniors are much more savoy then seniors of the past.

Coupled with that is the sad fact that the rotterdam taxpayers are now paying for a once useful program which has now turned into another politicize program.

This senior gossip center has now become the catapult for political revenge, political promotion and the center for the friends andfamily club.

It should be closed down. There are private entities all over rotterdam that can provide these social programs.
