Listen, I don't know if everyone is 'against' GP as you state. But it sounds like the general consensus thinks his actions and motives are questionable. He does have a questionable past on how he has handled certain issues. His recent actions is just added proof to some that he certainly lacks in unification, leadership and people skills. And you can add 'trust' to that list.

He should be reminded that rotterdam is not a court room. However, he is now airing his dirty laundry to the court of public opinion.
Rotterdamians are now the judge and jury! IMHO

I have to agree with Mr. Parisi on this one. He and I disagree often, but on this he and I are in lock step. I agreed with him when he sued Mr. DelGallo for holding an illegal meeting and I applaud him for having the character to respond to impropriety caused by Republicans. And, since it is Easter, I was able to come out of hiding. It's good to be back and I'm feeling quite refreshed.

It's sad that it has come to this. I thought Tracy was going to do a fine job, but based on the allegations it seems this meeting was illegal. I am skeptical of some of GP's claims about certain committeemen not being on the committee, but the notice argument seems cut and dry. It was postmarked 5 days before the meeting when it had to be received 5 days before the meeting. I think Tracy should do the right thing: Admit the committee acted wrongly...call it a mistake, an error, an oversight, whatever...call off the meeting, properly notice a second meeting, get enough proxies at the meeting and redo it. Everyone will be happy. The public will know that a fair vote took place...and the public will know they have a chair willing to stand up for what is right.

I reallly hope the committee doesn't try to defend their actions... Admit the mistake and move on...Unless... is it possible... they CAN'T get a quorum because the majority of the committee doesn't support the ticket? If that is the case then I definitely applaud GP...If they did this in order to slam through an unpopular ticket, that would be very sad and quite disappointing.

Tracy you are a fine chair, and a finer woman do the right thing: call another meeting cross the T's dot the I's and prove that your candidates have the support of the committee...AND prove to the community at large that you have the integrity I know you have to stand up for what is right instead of what is convenient.

Sorry, and it appears that you can't quite get over  yourself to believe this.....but there are many who are not politically connected.

Those not politically connected feel that the recent article 78 in the newspaper should have and certainly could have been handled within the party. Making it a spectacle, makes it less valid and questions motivations. But this appears to be GP's style of attack. And that is the general consensus of the NOT POLITICALLY connected!!!.............k?

Don't underestimate the court of public opinion who are NOT CONNECTED!!

Penalty Kick that is VERY well said...I can't help but think that maybe the reason there wasn't a quorum was that there isn't enough support for Nicki. I heard that even Buchanan wanted someone else...Is it possible Tracy tried doing this to slam ND in there and no one else is really on board?

RVR that's a good point I heard that there were a lot of reps that weren't happy with ND because she keeps switching parties. I also heard that since she wouldn't give a final answer if she was running until very late that many committeemen were getting annoyed... Maybe no one supported her but no one wanted to vote against her so they didn't show up...
