I find it interesting that Tracy is always the first one here defending the committees action yet when the quorum is called into question all we hear is crickets...perhaps there is something to what greeny is saying...
maybe I have just decided that I do not have as much time as the other folks on here to sit and gab about what is happening. (?) I have not been on this in a long while...this is somewhat amusing |

Saying that legal services went out bid is a flat out lie. Comptroller's office was told to pay the bills, no record of a "bid" for legal services, of which another Parisi benefited from, does not exist. No bid exists. No bid exists. Show me the resolution awarding the bid and I will never post another message on this board EVER.
Well, where is KR the foil queen? Why isn't she running into TH foiling for this information like she did for all the EE information? After all, she was his hand maiden for the EE fiasco and now for his article 78. Or perhaps the talk at the donut shop is true............she and GP are plotting their take over of the con party.........perhaps? Why is KR involved in the rep party business? Or is it just the GP faction? |

ROTTERDAM Town Republican endorsements made illegally, lawsuit contends BY JUSTIN MASON Gazette Reporter
Former Rotterdam Republican Committee Chairman Gerard Parisi has filed a legal challenge to his party’s endorsements, claiming it didn’t have enough votes to ratify the slate of candidates approved earlier this month. Parisi, who served on the Town Board last year and was a former town attorney for Rotterdam, fi led a lawsuit against the committee in Schenectady County Court on Friday. The challenge claims that at least five of the 27 votes needed to adopt the endorsements came from people who were not on the committee. In addition, at least one of the nine proxy votes was submitted by someone not on the committee, Parisi claims in his lawsuit. He also faults the committee for failing to alert its members of the meeting with the requisite fi ve days notice. “The disregard for the notice and quorum requirements allowed a minority of the committee without legal authorization to determine the slate of candidates without the entire committee available to deliberate,” the lawsuit states. “Which is more akin to nations ruled by a dictatorial system than it is to the electoral process that was envisioned by the founders of our nation.” Committee Chairwoman Tracy Donovan expressed dismay over the lawsuit and stood by the legality of the endorsements. She said Parisi’s challenge seemed more like “sour grapes” resulting from his loss in a primary challenge to Republican Assemblyman George Amedore last September. Donovan also suspected Parisi of harboring a grudge against the candidates affiliated with the No New Tax Party. Brian McGarry, the Republicans’ endorsed candidate for town supervisor, was criticized for being a spoiler when he ran on the independent line and challenged incumbent Steve Tommasone during the 2009 election. ......................>>>>>.......................................>>>>>........................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01001&AppName=1

"Which is more akin to nations ruled by a dictatorial system than it is to the electoral process that was envisioned by the founders of our nation." LOL!
You're kidding right? Let's hope these wild allegations are more substantial than these gasbag quotes.

I think you better recheck the batteries in your lantern. 32% is the new 40%. Heard of rounding up but this is ridiculous. |

Of course he won't make friends standing up for the rule of law in Rotterdam... Only in Rotterdam is someone CRITICIZED for standing up for doing things the right way. |

Yeah...Like ALS money being collected without contract. Is he going to file a lawsuit against the Tommasone Administration next? |

Cissy if YOU are so adamant something illegal occurred... Why don't YOU get off your A$$$$$ and do something about it? He sued FDG for the exact same thing...is it any shock that he brought the same lawsuit against a republican? By the way you all loved it when he brought the suit against FDG? What's the difference? Standing up for the rule of law is good when it's against dems but not against reps? As opposed to you, Parisi isn't using the legal system for political gains he is standing up for proper procedure regardless of who violates the rules... |

I'm just a political commentator, I'm not a politician claiming to be fighting for truth justice and the American way in an Article 78 filed against my own party. And where's that resolution that paid his brothers law firm? I'm sure Gadfly is foiling for that as I type. |
