I heard Salamone and Parisi were so outraged by the endorsements of a bunch of political neophytes

So you're saying we need the political veterans that negotiated the SI Group deal, or attempted to pass a taxing district by permissive referendum that ultimately went down in flames to the voters by 2 to 1?  The neophytes during the 09 campaign seemed to have been talking and listening to the residents of Rotterdam more closely than any of the major political parties.

I'll say it again... TWO TO ONE against the taxing district.

you got abbot and costello against two intelligent attorneys. You got one guy that doesn't know a damn thing about anything except that he's against taxes--great we all are...what are you gonna do about it? and then then ya got costello who voted to allow the illegal development at the former army barracks to continue!!

The SI deal was great it benefits the finances of the town a hell of a lot more than if si group left...of course that takes some reasoning to realize so i understand why many on this blog still don't get it. And questioning them on the taxing district is a bit unfair being that your golden girl nicki had a tax sign on her lawn and supported the tax too!!!

I predict salamone and parisi 3:1 over abbot and costello!!!

I'd vote for Salamone for legislator...As the REMS attorney, maybe he could help Rotterdam track down the hundreds of thousands in ALS money collected by REMS by the illegal authorization by the ST Admin.

That can be part of Salamone's campaign platform.

I'm no fan of ND and I wouldn't vote for ND, but having a sign on your lawn in comparison to being the town attorney that provided council to the ST Admin when the hundreds of thousands of ALS money was given to REMS might not be a wise topic of debate.

Marcinkowski and Fiorillo were THERE and voted for the slate so I would think that in light of this information your source is all wet. Besides, Tommasone never campaigned when he was town supervisor, so why would he campaign now? Salamone lives in New Jersey and as to the rest I can't comment.

Stop being silly.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I didn't say I knew the advise given, just that he was town attorney during the ALS approval during the ST admin.  I don't think that is a lie.

Nothing implied...GP was Town Republican Chair, then Town Attorney...There is a substantial amount of taxpayer ALS money that was collected by REMS, and you think during a campaign he can claim ignorance and attorney/client privilege?  Good luck!

If Salamone ran for the County he would lay down for AS and TJ....and he sure isn't going to track down the ALS cash because
he is too busy DEFENDING REMS for that rip off....he continues to simply state that "they did nothing wrong"....he does not, and
will not elaborate.

What's considered a quorum - 1/3 present?  Is there more than 51 committee people?  Or is 1/3 not the Rotterdam Rep for quorum?

I was being facetious.  Of course they would run to hurt the chances of the Repubs because as you point out, TJ and Salamone share a common interest.  Making REMS the Town EMS and making sure they are taxpayer funded.
