The easy way to cut debt is to end the wars, cut military spending, JOBS JOBS JOBS, pass legislation that requires US Corporations to "actually pay their taxes" and a Tax Increase For the Rich.
If done soon enough, a major tax increase for the middle class can be lessened or eliminated.

It would be a lot but don't expect Obama to change our foreign policies, he is a coward and a fraud nothing else. If we ended the wars and brought all our troops home from all over and then eliminated foreign aid we could cut over a trillion dollars a year in spending.
