The fact of the matter is....the liberal dems have raised taxes/fees to the breaking point for created patronage jobs, lucrative government handout programs...

You haven't seen anything yet.  When police consolidation is approved all those who are waiting
in the wings  for their cameo role will be awarded no show jobs.  I suspect that the one who you
call "TJ Hooker" will be among the first (or so he may think)

On the topic of consolidation to a county wide police force, I have a question ...

Our Rotterdam police department is reportedly the highest paid in the county.  If the consolidation
is approved, will the officers of the RPD take salary cuts to align with the rest of the departments or
will the others all be given salary increases?

William, there has been talk about a countywide police force for years, what makes you think we should be concerned?  Also seems to me that would warrant a thread of its own.

Masked Man,

First, you can call me Bill.

I agree that the police consolidation topic deserves a separate thread.    My questions still warrant answers.
And, although it has been talked about for years, it appears that those in law enforcement are stacking the
decks in local government.

Exactly-right! This idea is going nowhere fast. No one, especially town officers, wants to be assigned to Hamilton Hill.  The DEMS love to throw this term around pretending they are actually doing something.

that's the point.......both major parties in the county ONLY CONSERVE THEIR OWN A$$ES....time to strip the stripes......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

ROTTERDAM
Board member cites politics in decision not to run again
BY JUSTIN MASON Gazette Reporter

Nicola DiLeva said politicking within the Democratic Party prompted her to abandon a run for re-election this fall.
The first-term Town Board member said the party seems more interested in helping themselves instead of residents. She said she refused an endorsement and decided not to run again because she doesn’t see things getting any better when the new board is seated next year.
“We have two different philosophies,” she said. “They’re only there for the party.”
DiLeva said she is mulling a run for the Schenectady County Legislature. She said the Rotterdam Republican Committee has approached her about the possible run, and she views the Legislature as a place where she could better help town residents.
“I want to help people,” she said. “I don’t want to battle and I don’t want to fight.” ...................>>>>...............................>>>>....................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01702&AppName=1

"They're only there for the party {DEM}" stated ND. She got that right. A two year debacle of DEM overspending, lob hires and intra party squabbles. Actually made the horrible City Council rubber stamps look better.

ND should run for County Legislature. They are in desperate need for any opposition to Landslide Savage's liberal agenda. TJ Hooker should be shaking in his boots. She's got the name id and was one consistent voice for less government spending.

The only thing that Town Democrats have ever asked Frank DelGallo to do ... was to WORK WITH the entire team.   I guess Mr. DelGallo considers  teamwork and communication to be "playing games"  ---  says a lot about the DelGallo-Godlweski dictatorship.

Is it Lent still?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
