that's when everyone shows up at your home to take what they think is 'rightfully' theirs......be prepared....the government made a bunch of criminals not unlike Gaddafi's 'paid for friends'.......
I'm just trying to find an NRA Basic Shotgun course locally so I can be prepared for potential anarchy. I won't guarantee that is coming - but it certainly is a real possibility.
John Stossel had a great show on Fox today regarding freeloaders. Everyone from the panhandler on the street to corporations like GE. Even stars pay much lower taxes than there neighbors because they have do a little organic farming or raise bees.
One lady out panhandling said her boy friend had kicked her out and she had to get home 1000 miles away. She was getting large amounts of money each day. Well Stossel and his crew followed her and she ended up living two blocks away in a decent house and changed into nice clothes and then the next day back to her "crummy" clothes and panhandling again.
Stories like Gemini's makes me even more worried for society when the system passes the tipping point, and unemployment skyrockets and all the social services funding dries up due to no one willing to buy municipal bonds.
Very bad things may happen.
I just think that its sickening that these people have more than those who work for it. Its our taxes that give them their checks. I know a family that pops out babies every few years so they can keep collecting. I know for a fact they already have 11 kids. They move from apartment to apartment in Schenectady. Last I knew they had a four bedroom one this time. Get real. Most of the younger kids are spread out through the school district in special ed classrooms so you know they are getting even more money for them.

There was a show on tv not long ago about a couple of guys that did window washing in the streets. They would slop the stuff on your windshield at a stop light and took a couple of bucks from the driver to clean it off. Nice huh? Then showed the tv crews where they lived and how much money they made doing this. There are people out there that are homeless but then there are those that are scammers.

And this is precisely the reason I will leave NY someday.
The state will go bankrupt trying to pay out all these entitlements, while those working (or retired) flee the state so that they don't have to pay for other people's standard of living.
Oh yeah, wondered about this, just took the time to look it up. True, most of us virtually have all the bells and whistles on our cell phones. But thing back a bit to your earlier cell phones where you got just minutes. And then it added texting. How much was your monthly bill?
Well, add that to that "value" of the income of welfare recipients. That commerical on TV, "I can call my child's doctor," and "I can call my grandchildren" and other such "necessary" phone calls (what did people do before phones were invented). So, people on welfare can get this free phone, then they can go to another company, Safe Link and get a free phone and service from that company too.
And guess who pays for this? We do! Through our taxes, look at your phone bill, see the Universal service fee, uh, tax, on your bill.
So, figure $50 a month for each company (there are probably more out there too), plus the phone itself; add the value of that onto the "annual income" of those on public assistance.
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
I think the view on cell phones is a little more than just a call......it's transportation of sorts....like roads and highways.....the ability to trade.... albeit the trading is drugs/DVD's etc but, it is still trade....
what's funny is I work with folks who complain about not having $$ to pay for their rent/taxi/bus etc but are all ready and willing to pay upwards of $200 month for a cell phone.....I dont want to pay for other folks cell phones either, but we have to put into perspective what a computer/cellphone is.... in the future generations it will be as simple as pen and paper......
...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS
