At least once or twice a week I will get a Right Wing Email hoax forwarded to me. Sometimes they ask me if the story is true. Other times it's just forwarded as fact.
They are all outlandish and hardly believable, and always turn out to be listed as a "hoax" at Snopes.com or Factcheck.org or Urban legends.

Today I found the "$2billion Obama Trip to India" hoax, forwarded to me by a conservative friend.

I almost NEVER get a "Left Wing Hoax"... I know they exist, but I seldom if ever see them.
I've seen hundreds of hoaxes from the Right but only a handful from the Left.
My question...
Do others get ONLY Right Wing Email Hoaxes or is it just me?

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Why send an e-mail hoax when you have MSNBC and CBS?  Dan Rather was the facilitator for the Left Wing Hoax for MANY years, and in my opinion, much more damaging than e-mail.

Remember - Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh was responsible for shooting Gabby Gifford.  Talk about left wing hoax.

"Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh was responsible for shooting Gabby Gifford"...
is an opinion, (that Right Wing Hate Speech promotes violence).
It wasn't (as far as I know)  an email passed off as fact.

I've seen a few Left Wing hoaxes, but only a handfull of them over the years.  Right Wing hoaxes appear daily on 'anti-hoax' sites.

It was news commentary passed off as FACT.  It was slander committed by news anchors, pundits, and even Democrat Congressmen and women.

Commentary...
1.      an explanatory series of notes or comments
2.      a spoken accompaniment to a broadcast, film, etc, esp of a sporting event
3.      an explanatory essay or treatise on a text
Commentary is often opinion.

Fact...
1.something that actually exists; reality; truth
2.something known to exist or to have happened
3.a truth known by actual experience or observation; something known to be true

For those who regularly watch Fox News, the blend of commentary and fact is often so muddled that there is no discerning which is which.

Either way your post has little to do with the subject... a preponderance of Right Wing Email Hoaxes, with IMO almost no Left Wing Hoaxes.

Cicero

The opening of your Olberman video displays in Large Letters "SPECIAL COMMENT"... as in commentary...as in OPINION.

If you are watching NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS News, they broadcast the NEWS... what they broadcast is, to the best of their ability, FACT.
If they have a commentator on their show, THE COMMENTARY IS O P I N I O N!.. Get it??? Fact is Fact, Opinion is Opinion. Unlike on Fox News, they are NOT the same.

(Unless this is an intentional thread hi-jack, do you have a comment (opinion) on the original issue,"Right Wing Hoax Email.")

Commentary laced with the word fact, and then pawn it off as opinion is laughable.  Dan Rather tried to inflluence an election with a hoax story.  C'mon Box, get real.  E-mails are small peanuts compared to the lies pushed by the left wing news media over the years.

Yeah, Please tell me this ABC Report on This Week isn't blaming Right Wing Conservatives.  Very balanced.

OK Cicero,
Since you obviously are avoiding the subject of this post and want to divert attention away from "Right Wing Email Hoaxes"...
So that you could discuss "Left Wing Commentary"...
Why didn't you just start your own thread instead of hi-jacking this one???

I posted an observation and invited anyone to respond on the subject.  No one has as yet.
