Really strange.  

During Mary McClain's presentation during the Privilege of the Floor suddenly a line of colored balloons came on filling the whole screen.  A nice line left to right, pretty colored ones.  They then floated up and off the screen.  

Wonder what than means?  Could it be they were saying Mary is full of hot air?  Most likely not but then again who knows..

I liked when John Harnden did things.  Forget all the pretty titles etc. and just present the meeting.

Balloons or buffoons? OSM is the biggest fraud ever perpetuated. Instead of doing one thing properly-they do three channels poorly. It's all about the big money grab. For the "arts". Arts for arts sake-money for God's sake.

Crap, we missed that.   The TV was on in the other room, we had been making meat loaves to freeze and the onion soup burgers patties made to freeze, so we listened but never looked at the TV.

Yup saw the balloons, pretty weird. No D. Birch tonight, hope he is ok, after getting two letters from city hall not to come into their offices. Liked how Voris brought up IDA and McCarthy's signature on permits, and overtime etc.
And the guy who asked for info on OSM and got his FOIL request denied. What a surprise when McCarthy said he , Statton and Morris are the three that represent.
Was hoping someone would bring up the mssing tree grates and where the investigation is going with that, or lack of investigation. Talked to someone in news media who said they know who it is and does not understand why he can't get answers.

It has been presented here on this board numerous times that Stratton, McCarthy adn Morris are the ones pulling all the strings.  Two of which are politicians and the third is....well I can't say here what I think of Morris but it isn't nice.Maybe

To bad Mr Bertch wasn't back to being a part of forums on the internet to inform the public what he is finding out.  I know he is from Niskayuna but by him speaking out he will probably "expose" something regarding how OSM is operated and what just does happen to PEG fees.  

This three man committee which consists of two government officials and Morris is real questionable.

This is why Public Access is no longer Public it is a committee of three and it "stops" there.  As far as I can tell OSM is not a separate 501 (c) (3) or if it is Morris and the two others are not making it publicly known. There is no Board of Directors nor is the general public is involved as far as I can tell.  If there is, it is hand picked from individuals somehow related to city government and the other community's government.

There has always been some kind of Schenectady city government involvement in Public Access. They are the ones that dole out the PEG money to the Public Access system.  I too would like to hear what exactly are the PEG fees being used for.

This is why Gary Delain and a few others made a point of minimizing the involvement of government so the "Public" would be a part of Public Access.

If you will recall previous posts... the City Council meetings never had anything to do with Channel 16.  The only thing that was ever done was a patch was made to reroute the signal to the Time Warner Head end.

The only production equipment that was involved in the meetings was the one John Harnden and his volunteers ran.  Both his production center and OSM's could be used such as what we saw last night with the Balloons the MAJOR difference is with Harnden at the helm he had integrity.  We could trust him.

That Voris (I'm assuming P.D. are her initials of first and middle name) is, well, I'm not sure.  I'm trying to figure her out.  Sometimes I'm trying to figure out what she's talking about.   But the "term" she used this week and two weeks ago made me wonder.   It just struck me funny when I heard her talking about "Ida."   I mean rather then saying the eye-dee-aye, ya know?    But I understand what she's trying to say, the message about these leaders sitting on all these multiple committees and boards.  And well, McCarthy may have to be part of it as acting mayor?   But it seems like, well, there's the city council, the city IDA, the county IDA, the Metroplex, the county legis, the town legis and I think they have their own IDA's as well, and whatever else, and I'm sure when one sits on, say, three of these "bodies" (or committees whatever), they do things that benefit themselves in their positions on the other boards/commiittees, and I think that's what Vois was trying to say
