DV says this the city is going through a renaissance.
Is THIS what you call renaissance? Do you STILL think it's better to make the homeowners pay higher taxes to cover the tax exemptions of the millionaires downtown? Do you STILL think it's better to spend money on downtown instead of the neighborhoods?
Well???? Answer?????
And this follows shootings a couple days ago.
So, when are YOU going to become an adult and buy a house in the city?
Oh, he's not responding on these boards, he's too embarrassed to admit that he's wrong
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
Phew! The injuries were not life threatening. At least it won't add to the Schenectady murder rate. I don't want to be a nattering nayboo, so I look for the positive.

I think that most of you have some explaining to do- what do you tell your familiy when they ask you why they have to live here ? What do you tell them ? Really man - my father was born in a house on Schenectady Street- he left Schenectady when I was two. I grew up in yates village raised by a single mom- wanna guess if I still live around here ?
Both my dads brothers left the following year-
my mom still lives here- she never learned how to drive a car.
sombody-I live on Schenectady Street. I have wanted to move for the longest time. We can't. Own our home and I talked to real estate agents just to get an idea of selling my home, one actually chuckled. I've been told houses are not selling especially on hamilton hill.
Our home is all we have. My hubby is 68 years old and will retire soon. I am on disability.
So we can't move due to financial reasons. Even though our taxes are so very high, if we did sell our home which we would get nothing for we wouldn't have the means to live anywheres else.
This is what happens wjen people mix alcohol and guns. It has nothing to do with Schenectady. In Schenectady there is a renaissance thanks to our glorious comrades.

Hey GB. Maybe u can give them some candy, as a gesture of your humanatarism? You are, after all, a part of the renaissance in the area.. your business pays sales tax that helps promote economic development... do the right thing, for once.

Hey, SB, if this is in fact true, then why are you asking him to do the right thing and help out through the city? You're stating that, by collecting this sales tax, GB already IS promoting the economic development. Why would you want GB to do more? And if they need to do more, why not just make more of the sales tax amount go to the ever wonderful failure of the Metroplex?

Ohhhhhhhhhhh smoky...guess you need to take economic 101!!!! You are clearly clueless!!!! You must be drinking the metroplex/gazetto water...perhaps?

Yeah, GB never does nice things. A true ogre and terrible person that throw infants into woodstoves and pushed elderly cripples in wheelchairs down stairwells with his hobnail boot. Never gave anything to any cause, never helped a soul. Only democrap liberals do that and the proof is when you see their names plastered up on reader boards on the local fire halls and in the church bulletins. How awful it is to not be in the "in clique."

I sure ain't the one on the cross trying to claim how generous I am. That is a secret between me and my maker. People in the democrap-liberal Schenectady Chardonnay sipping community are the ones who are the great humanitarians. Just ask them or ask the Chamber of Con-merce.

They are life threatening when you live with pain, then have to go on disability and SS and all sorts of services......yay!!!!!
pay attention when the media reports about 'not life threatening'......how about using 'life changing'......nah....wouldn't want to tell the truth.....just keep greasing the grey matter.......
doesn't that annoy you too?
