Ron is the only "joke" ... An endorsement of Severson by either the Republicans or NNTP (which is not technically a party) is sure sign of the end of both.
Time to start the disclosures and republishing all his previous posts.

Listen DVR, I own two businesses in Schenectady and one on Altamont Ave. Nobody offered me Metroplex money to do WHAT I WANTED. Why should a bank get that money when in fact they are already located on the street. That's BS.
Did you apply for Metroplex $$ ?? They don't just come and hand it out.
And as I said - I do not know know if Metroplex money is involved in the project -- but it is a good project --
so if it is involved... I don't have a problem with it.Re: Buffardi For Rotterdam Town Supervisor

The nattering nayboobs of negativity in the GOP and other parties just can't handle the fact that 8 years ago -- the city of Schenectady was down for the count ... GOP control of the County Leg had brought the city and thecounty to the edge of the cliff.
Today - because of the hard work of the Democratic team in the county and in every municipality within the county --- things have turned around ... progress is being made ... and while a lot of work still needs to be done.. the fact is WE ARE BETTER OFF THAN WE WERE 8 YEARS AGO.
The GOP is the party of no --- no competence --- no progress --- no ideas -- no jobs -- no future.
Voters -- Just say NO to the GOP.

just because something is legal doesn't make it right
just because something is wrong doesn't make it illegal
you know as well as I that ANY LINGO USED BY LEGAL BEGALS leaves the populace wanting for lack of understanding....should have left
latin in the public schools along with the bible(not for the religious use but the study of the 2edge sword 101)...shame shame shame
I have absolutely NO problem paying the
extra sales tax to fund Metroplex -- it is money well spent. They have done an awesome job under Ray Gillen and the Democratic majority on the County Leg.

WRONG! You're reading the Gazetto as if it were the Bible. Fact is, businesses move to other States because the workers comp rates, health insurance mandates and sales tax in NY are double that of other states. Even with Metroplex, the fact is that running a business in NY is very costly, unless you can get money from a corrupt unit like the Plex.
The Metroplex has not helped the tax base, it's absolutely decimated it. It has turned an entire Downtown into a tax-exempt, taxpayer funded free-for-all. It has helped a handful of people create low-paying, part time server/waitressing jobs. This is not economic development, it is taxpayer robbery.
That is not from the Gazette --- that is from a variety of sources --- all experts on economic development. In fact one of the experts who said what I only repeated was on AM 1300.
Obviously, you and your ilk no absolutely NOTHING about economic development. You are grossly misinformed. I get my news and information from a wide range of sources on the internet and radio and in other publications. I also took classes in Economics and, in particular, in Urban Economics. It is a subject thatI have tried to keep abreast of for the past 31 years (actually a bit more).
The problem with Nattering Nayboobs of Negativity is that they know very little -- get their information (if any) from Reich-Wing nut jobs and refuse to accept ACTUAL FACTS when presented to them.

Here's what is coming for over $14 MILLION-BIKE PATHS! This is what the DEM morons want on Erie Blvd. More green nonsense. What kind of idiot will ride their bike to work winters at GE? Insane. A complete waste of State and City tax money. This is a City that can't afford $50,000 to knock down a house where a body laid of 3 weeks BUT it has over $1 million to flush for "traffic calming" and bike paths-where pedestrians used to be. The traffic jams and permanent loss of business from this moronic plan will be incalculable.
Then this dozy from the Gazetto; the cost is going up $300,000 for the CITY! But not to fret because the DEMS didn't take as much property as they first thought. It's still costing $300,000 MORE + $700,000= over $1 MILLION to CITY taxpayers. The fossil DEMS don't care about anything, long time businesses, horrible traffic and business dislocation, loss of tax revenue-it's all about the precious deal and helping a buddy. C'mon State DOT cut all funding to this Erie disaster.
The Erie Blvd project is more than just bike paths ..
and of course the project costs have gone up .. every time that you delay a project .. the costs go up.
The only disaster in Schenectady are the Nattering Nayboobs of Negativity.
