To your point.........look how great the dems are doing on the town board? Where is the dems town clerk? Where is the dems als $$$ that rightfully belongs to the taxpayers? How many attorneys does rotterdam need???

Stupid? No....shamefully pathetic!

Hey dvr........it's lent....remember?

Mr. Martin and Mr. Calder are doing a great job on the Town Board.
The other two individuals who claim to be Democrats have been a great disappointment .. and I can assure you that I will not support either of them in the future for any office.

Where is the ALS $$$ that Tomassone and the Republcians let slip by ??
And you know that I have said all along that the Town Board should sign an ALS agreement with BOTH Mohawk and REMS .. and collect the money from BOTH -- but wait ..  Mr. Del Gallo and Mr. Godlewski REFUSE to do that -- so  blame them .. not me.

As for the attorneys - I believe the other two needed to go and the new law firm needed to come on board.
I will leave it at that.

The entire rotterdam town board should be and must be replaced. It has been a disaster since day one. From an incompetent supervisor, that the dems rallied, campaigned and supported, to nd's soprano style incompetence, that the dems rallied, campaigned and supported, to BG who should have retired years ago, that the dems, rallied, campaigned and supported, to wc who is taking his orders from tj hooker, that the dems rallied campaigned and supported  to mm who makes his decisions bases on the direction of the wind, that the dems rallied, campaigned and supported,  to an awol town clerk, who is supported by the dem party, to missing hundreds of thousands of als money, that the dems are not pursuing............and the corrupt list goes on and on!

The rotterdam dems have failed rotterdam like no other in history!!!! If rotterdamians are so dumb enough to vote another dem into office.........then you all get what you deserve....more laughter from the other side of rotterdam's town boarders!

Not the entire Town Board...and two of those "Dems" are Conservatives...regardless of what ballot line they run on.

In one of your recent posts you made it sound as though the "incompetent" Supervisor was now a hero for not marching to the
beat of the Party drum...which is it?

Is ND incompetent because of her "soprano style"....or is she just incompetent...and how so?

I also believe that MM, like ND, bases his decisions on what he believes is right...I have seen nothing to suggest otherwise....I
think his voting record would be much more one sided if this were the case....they look at things on a case by case basis and
do what they think is best and fair.

I do agree that WC takes his orders from TJ...that could be another entire thread.

As for the awol Clerk, last I knew ND did not have the votes to takes whatever measures are legally allowed to limit the losses
being incurred by that Clerk.

The Conservatives on the Board support an audit...trouble is, there is no record of the transactions so it would be all but impossible
to account for the $$$...and the Town will never be reimbursed. Yes...PD records would tell us how many ALS calls were dispatched,
but we would have no way of knowing which were billed, which were collected and how much.

What we do know is that when it was revealed by the PD Chief, he specifically stated that REMS had been billing for ALS service
for "the last four or five years"...during the Tommasone administration. The best the current adminstration can hope for, IMO, is
to bring all parties involved in that scam to account, and prevent it from happening again...by making sure that REMS does not
have the chance to handle ALS funds...which could be accomplished simply by giving Mohawk the ems contract. That way, even if
REMS gets an ALS contract...they will not be dispatched to most or any of the ems/transport calls and therefore would not be able
to bill for services they didn't use because they were not the responders/transporters.

To say that this is the "worst in history" based on these items is really stretching it BT...I can think of plenty of other elected
representatives that have been far worse and have inflicted very real damages...here and in other towns...names like Kirvin and
Constantino come to mind...I remember a certain Republican Supervisor in your town BT who raised taxes a whopping 33%!
The voters in your town responded by electing all Democrats...granted your town is smart enough not to leave then there too
long....but to listen to you, no Democrat should ever be elected for anything...so shame on your electors - lol.

(a) has been guilty of misrepresentation in obtaining the certificate or in the operation of the ambulance service or advanced life support first response service; or

(b) has not been competent in the operation of the service or has shown inability to provide adequate ambulance services or advanced life support first response service; or

(c) has failed to pay the biennial certification fee as required except in the case of any voluntary ambulance service or voluntary advanced life support first response service; or

(d) has failed to file any report required by the provisions of this article or the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder; or

(e) has violated or aided and abetted in the violation of any provision of this article, the rules and regulations promulgated or continued thereunder, or the state sanitary code; or

(f) had discontinued operations for a period in excess of one month; or

(g) a voluntary ambulance service or voluntary advanced life support first response service has failed to meet the minimum staffing standard and has not been issued an exemption, except that such certificate shall not be suspended or revoked unless the commissioner finds that an adequate alternative service exists. The commissioner shall consider the recommendation of the regional emergency medical services council in making a finding; or

(h) an ambulance service operating for profit has failed to meet the minimum staffing standard; or

(i) has been convicted of a crime or pleaded nolo contendere to a felony charge involving murder, manslaughter, assault, sexual abuse, theft, robbery, fraud, embezzlement, drug abuse, or sale of drugs, unless the commissioner finds that such conviction does not demonstrate a present risk or danger to patients or the public; or

(j) is or was subject to a state or federal administrative order relating to fraud or embezzlement, unless the commissioner finds that such order does not demonstrate a present risk or danger to patients or the public.

2. Proceedings under this section may be initiated by any person, corporation, association, or public officer, or by the department by the filing of written charges with the department. Whenever the department seeks revocation or suspension of a certificate of an ambulance service or an advanced life support first response service, acopy of the charges shall be referred to the appropriate regional council for review and recommendation to the department prior to a hearing. Such recommendation shall include a determination as to whether the public need would be served by a revocation, suspension, annulment or limitation. If there is no appropriate regional council established, the state council shall make such determination and present to the department its recommendations.

3. No certificate shall be revoked, suspended, limited or annulled without a hearing. However, a certificate may be temporarily suspended without a hearing and without the approval of the appropriate regional council or state council for a period not in excess of thirty days upon notice to the certificate holder following a finding by the department that the public health, safety or welfare is in imminent danger.

4. The commissioner shall fix a time and place for the hearing. A copy of the charges and the recommendations of the appropriate regional council or state council together with the notice of the time and place of the hearing, shall be mailed to the certificate holder by registered or certified mail, at the address specified on the certificate, at least fifteen days before the date fixed for the hearing. The appropriate regional council may be a party to such hearing. The certificate holder may file with the department, not less than five days prior to the hearing, a written answer to the charges.

That is like going to a BBQ and getting a giant rack of rib and they put a scoop of cole slaw on the side, and you tell everyone you had cole slaw for dinner. THE TICKET WAS A DEMOCRAPIC TICKET. You don't JOIN THE DEMOCRAPIC TICKET AFTER BEING A REPUBLICAN ELECTED OFFICIAL AND NOT GIVE IT ANY THOUGHT. THAT IS UTTER FLIP-FLOPPING AND BETRAYAL. YEAH, I KNOW THERE WAS OBAMA WORSHIP AND THE COPS LOVE OBAMA AND WANT TO BE ON HIS ELECTORAL TEAM WHICH IS DEMOCRAP SO THAT IS WHY THE COPSERVATIVES WANTED TO JOIN THE DEMOCRAPS IN ERADICATING THE REPUBLICAN PARTY. THEY WANTED A CO-DICTATORSHIP WITH NO OPPOSITION. AND SHE WAS PART OF THAT. SHE JOINED THE DEMOCRAP TEAM. PERIOD. YOU CAN'T SOFT PEDAL THAT.

Exactly! The cons have been in lock step with the dems for the last few years. Everyone knows that!! The electorate, and rightfully so, considers a con a dem and a dem a con! That is a given. So while the dems are beginning to lose credibility....the cons will follow suit.

And for the record, rotterdamians never really knew ND. Most thought she was a dem since she ran on the REVITALIZE ROTTERDAM DEM TICKET. She was part of it and blame will fall on her equally! That is rotterdam!!

Rotterdamians are sick and tired of being sick and tired with rotterdam politics as usual. They are sick and tired of hearing the same names, seeing the same faces over and over and over again. There is a different electorate out there....they will just vote them out!! We already saw that on a national level.
