BM has taught the Republicans nothing...they always knew that anyone can be a spoiler...and the NNTP is using this as leverage
to get their way...it's practically blackmail...and I believe the GOP will risk defeat before they will let a few renegades dictate their
agenda with threats.

I like BM but he will not beat HB...if public service is really his priority then he can serve in different capacities and should run in a
race he can win.

You have GOT to be kidding...right?????

First....exactly what did BM 'spoil'? A local rotterdam rep party that campaigned on higher taxes by supporting REMS? Did BM spoil the fact that ST snuck his $10k/month payment to REMS before he left office? A local rotterdam rep party that chose negative campaigning? Nooooo gadfly....the rotterdam reps 'spoiled themselves'!

And how many times did the reps let county/city elections go unopposed over and over and over? Noooooo gadfly....the reps were awol l-o-n-g before BM came on the scene.

Second.....what about your own party gadfly? Ya know....the copservatives. The party that doesn't even allow a full committee vote on ANYTHING? It's a political dictatorship!! The party that is supposedly CONSERVATIVE, that cross endorses liberals? It's your party that has joined the dems in their house of whores!! Now that's a political party I'd sure as hell wouldn't want to be a part of!!!

No, BM can beat HB!! BM is just what the electorate is looking for. And the two party system and those who support it, like yourself, don't want this corrupt dysfunctional apple cart upset.

If you are banging your head against the corrupt dysfunctional two party system brick wall, I promise that it will feel so good, when you stop!!

This thread is about Dirty Harry Booffanti, not where people went to college and if they got their money's worth or not.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

My two cents........these rabble rousers are Steve Tommasone supporters.  I am quite sure that the four ladies moved were hired by Steve, some with no competition or interviews.  The Highway dude with the lazy eye is a Steve guy, the flub Gerard is a Steve guy, the two ladies at the Rail are Steve gals.  Molly's hubby put her in there when he was union prez.  Who brought in Darlene, Golden and Laccardi? What is up with the Dems?  Didn't they learn to survive in the Town of ROT to play nice and surround yourself with your own or they will eat you!

you are so wrong you should go back to bed and get up on the otherside.....I dont care who is who.....they are not born out of
a vacuum......

close the senior center
make a long plan for the town with real goals.....with a rotterdam community tech/media center FOR ALL AGES as the crowning
achievement after we do our work......

as for getting FDG and the conversations and newpaper articles....sometimes one has to hit rockbottom before ya realize you
need to get the hell up because NO ONE IS GOING TO DO IT FOR YOU.....especially if they are party transplants and retreads,
THEY only care about the status quo......

the future is coming-----are we ready??

So embrace him or else? That is a great attitude of a public servant... he isnt a public servant he is a pubic servant.... if someone isnt willing to step back and do what is good for the town they have no business running for office. I wont be voting for buffardi but it seems like hes running for supervisor in the same way thomas jefferson ran for president. Jefferson refused to seek the endorsement but said something to the affect of if you select me i will do my duty as your president. that is what buffardi is doing and THAT is the right reason to run for office...doesnt mean hes best qualified or that i agree with him but i respect a candidate willing to run when he isnt out for power or fame but wants to what is right. that isnt mcgarry mcgarry is a power hungry s(cumbag who thinks hes gods gift to man...ya know what? he isnt!!! and i cannot wait for the stuff that he said in the past to come back to bite him in the hind quarters...

he doesn't have to say he wants the power......

those who control the guns control the masses
those who control the $$ control the masses
those who control the knowledge control the masses
those who control the language of the law control the masses

my guess is that being a teacher/sheriff he would find my list a little short

Despite their position on the tax...despite the negative campaign rhetoric...the numbers don't lie...BM spoiled ST's re-election...I'm
not complaining...I'm glad ST lost. I never blamed BM for ST's gross disregard for taxpayers when he slipped into the budget
what was meant to replace money ST knew REMS shouldn't have been keeping in the first place...and it was after the election...and
while they have seen many unopposed races, the GOP always managed to come up with candidates for Rotterdam Supervisor.

I also do not dispute the shame that is our local Party leadership...I never have...but they are not 'the Party'...and the 'Party' has
not joined the Dems which is why local Primaries are so common in our Party...the conservative members of the Party will challenge
nominations wherever possible...they want conservatives on their ballot line...which is why they resent being thrown in with the so
called 'copservatives' with whom they have nothing in common. 'The Party', in general, is conservative...the few dictators that run
it are not...they are merely a few operatives acting on behalf of the Democrats that run the Party. This unfortunate situation was the
whole basis for the Committee Primaries a couple years ago...to return the Party to its rightful owners....to Conservatives who are
reliably conservative...who will nominate and support conservative candidates...and who will actually represent the Conservative
electorate in casting Committee votes on their behalf.

BM will not beat HB...but I understand how you can believe he will...someone like BM is what voters should be looking for...and
they probably would be in your Town...but this is Rotterdam. I don't bang my head against the two Party wall...I'm not a member of
either and have no allegiance to either...my priority is always conservative...regardless of Party label...because both major Parties
have both liberal and conservative members.

BM CAN beat HB!! Using the old excuse that 'this is rotterdam' is starting to get old. If you are as conservative as you protest to be, and if there are many in your party who are disillusioned by their copservative party, then most would assume that you and your 'real conservative' folks would step up to the plate in support BM (if it ends up being a HB vs BM) who really IS conservative!!

He is a registered rep so the two party system that you are comfortable with should be an easy task!

Oh you can rest assured that BM can most definitely beat HB!!! Even in rotterdam!!

It isn't just that it's Rotterdam...or that I consider that an excuse because it shouldn't be...it's just the way it is here.

I never said that real conservatives would never support BM, especially if he is the only conservative running...and I know BM is
a solid conservative, as I have stated. It has nothing to do with a two Party system...I wouldn't care how he is registered as long
as he is conservative, which he is. All I am saying is that it is highly unlikely that he will beat HB.

I knew HB when I lived in Schenectady.  I believe he can absolutely beat BM.  I do not personally know Mr. McGarry but I know without his running last time, Del Gallo would not have won the election.  Those on this board who deny that fact are fooling nobody but themselves.

Viscusi throwing his hat in the ring again as what? Is he still a Conservative or did he switch to Dems like his nephew.  I hope he can read better than at the debate for County Legislature. I hope he has more fiscally conservative ideas and not more tax break ideas like housing your elderly parents. Just what we need, tax breaks when schools are closing.

Yeah god forbid someone get a slight tax break to keep their elderly parents in their home rather than sending them to a nursing home to suck at the government teet!!! I guess husky howls thinks itd be smarter for tax payer money to take care of people's parents...perhaps that is why husky howls has never won an election? Hint: it's a good thing to incentivize behavior that will save taxpayer money in the long run.
