He stood on principles and helped to get Tommasone and crew off the board.

What has he done?   I would say he taught the Republicans a lesson in the last Supervisor's race.  They need to embrace BM as their candidate or they will be singing the blues again!  It's the only way to beat HB.

In a strange sort of way, you are correct. BM is clean! He has done nothing.....BAD! Untouched and not influenced by the dirty corrupt politics that rotterdam is famous for.

It is also apparent that if BM were a spoiler as you suggest, it would appear that he would have not taken on the task of running. eg fundraisers, petitions etc......a second time.

It also appears that he would not have expanded in his search for real conservative, like minded candidates who only have a desire to serve and make a positive difference in their community.

The reality is.....there are independent candidates everywhere today! And there is a growing number of the electorate that will support them.

And the best thing that could have ever happened to rotterdam was FDG and the entire Revitalize Rotterdam Team who where endorsed by both the dems and cons!!! They have shown how incompetent and misguided both parties are! The dem-o-cons future endorsements should be taken with less than a grain of salt!!!

Stick a fork in 'em!

My two cents........these rabble rousers are Steve Tommasone supporters.  I am quite sure that the four ladies moved were hired by Steve, some with no competition or interviews.  The Highway dude with the lazy eye is a Steve guy, the flub Gerard is a Steve guy, the two ladies at the Rail are Steve gals.  Molly's hubby put her in there when he was union prez.  Who brought in Darlene, Golden and Laccardi? What is up with the Dems?  Didn't they learn to survive in the Town of ROT to play nice and surround yourself with your own or they will eat you!

So embrace him or else? That is a great attitude of a public servant... he isnt a public servant he is a pubic servant.... if someone isnt willing to step back and do what is good for the town they have no business running for office. I wont be voting for buffardi but it seems like hes running for supervisor in the same way thomas jefferson ran for president. Jefferson refused to seek the endorsement but said something to the affect of if you select me i will do my duty as your president. that is what buffardi is doing and THAT is the right reason to run for office...doesnt mean hes best qualified or that i agree with him but i respect a candidate willing to run when he isnt out for power or fame but wants to what is right. that isnt mcgarry mcgarry is a power hungry s(cumbag who thinks hes gods gift to man...ya know what? he isnt!!! and i cannot wait for the stuff that he said in the past to come back to bite him in the hind quarters...

BM has taught the Republicans nothing...they always knew that anyone can be a spoiler...and the NNTP is using this as leverage
to get their way...it's practically blackmail...and I believe the GOP will risk defeat before they will let a few renegades dictate their
agenda with threats.

I like BM but he will not beat HB...if public service is really his priority then he can serve in different capacities and should run in a
race he can win.

It's funny that you would question what Mcgarry has accomplished, when you are a joke.  If it wasn't for your father you would have nothing.  He gave you your career, and you have failed at everything!  You think your still playing basketball at Schalmont and the truth is it is really really sad.  You have come off as a spoiled brat who takes his ball and goes home because he didn't get his way.  It's obvious why Tommasone failed, it's because he listened to you.

Mcgarry is very respected in the community and has been the only one showing any leadership.  Some of us finally have a reason to believe in Rotterdam's future and will actually get out of our recliners and see that his message is heard.

As far as being a "spoiler" again, the only party he's going to spoil is Buffardi's.

The GOP agenda?  What agenda?  BM isn't really leveraging and threatening, but rather offering supporters, momentum, and direction.  Let's be realistic, the Rotterdam GOP committee people accept the Party Chair nomination about as graciously as receiving a case of herpes - its like "who picked the shortest straw" nomination.

BM hasn't taught the Rotterdam Reps anything, nor do I believe that was his mission.  What he did was motivate and organize the likeminded independent conservative residents of Rotterdam and is trying to lead those residents to the Republican tent.  But some in the Republican Party are resistant, in order to keep their power within the Republican Party.  Some Republican Committee people like having the ability to use the party line to work against fellow Republicans in order to get their boy Ang in on the Democrat line.

Yes I can see why you would have a problem with someone who made something of himself...

Ah, you have it all wrong.  I have no problem with Frank Parisi, except that he raised a spoiled child.  FP is a fine man who is highly respected in the community, who built his law business and family name, only to have a kid like that.
