New police contract has PBA chief working

    The police union has elected a new president who is willing to run the union while still working as an offi cer.
    Jeremy Pace, a detective who works as one of the department’s four evidence technicians, is the new president. He replaces Lt. Robert Hamilton, who oversaw the union for six years. During that time, he took nearly every day off for “union business,” which by law does not have to be explained in any way.
    His supervisors could not legally demand that he prove he was doing union work, but the mayor and the public safety commissioner publicly questioned his time cards.
    The police approved a new contract last year that limited union time for every officer. Now there’s so little time that if the president takes off every day, the other officers would not be able to take time to file grievances and attend union meetings.

DUH.....and this is rocket science????

Bob H is a perfect example of why changes are needed to public union contracts and eliminate some of the abuses that the taxpayers are enduring today.

they would have to define it.....he happens to perform his police officer duties as a hobby??????

Bob H is on the job for at least 2 days a year whether he needs to or not and at full pay too with benefits.

those who control the votes control the masses
those who control the guns control the masses

this is the few tipping the scales without regards to the overall masses

and those few are pawns and the masses are the chess boards....the bishops are the legislators.....the queen is, the unions as a whole
