Hey DV, as you claim Schenectady is much improved (via all this mis-use of taxpayer dollars), tell us how many people are buying homes in the city (to be owner occupants, rather than slumlords)--be sure to provide us the proof.
Show us the proof that taxpayers propery values are on the rise thanks to downtown
Show us the proof that the financial burdens to the taxpayers are being lowered.

 Glad someone else is looking at failed "Art Nights". Over $300,000 in County taxpayer money went to Proctor's to publicize this nonsense. Nobody came-nobody cares about it. Another total waste of precious funds. Schenectady is not, never has been and never will be an arts town. There is no arts community and no place to sell art. The taxpayer money wasted by Landslide Savage/Death Ray/Mercury Morris to promote "the arts' is disgusting. DSIC (another taxpayer blackhole politicized by Stratton) has proven total incapable of overseeing this. Weed and Seed, SNAP, Art Nights, Metrograft, the County Legislature and DSIC should all be abolished. |
