Maybe.
The Wolf’s 1-11 Restaurant & Games owner, Mike Dirrado, says he is in contact with the Schenectady Metroplex Development Authority about opening another location in The Electric City.
Per Pam Allen of The Business Review/bizjournals.com;
Ray Gillen, Metroplex’s chairman, would not say whether he’s spoken with Dirrado or not, noting, “We only talk about projects when we have a signed deal in hand.”
Dirrado is also considering Clifton Park and Saratoga Springs as possible new locations (though he has not had talks with either community as of yet), but says, “I’m trying to see what happens with Schenectady first.”
My wife and I went to Wolf’s 1-11 shortly after it opened for dinner and it left us a little underwhelmed. ANOTHER restaurant?!?!? Will someone please take the fat checkbook out of Gillen's hands. His decisions are bad, they're killing the taxpayers and I'm tired of him using my money for his 'quick fixes'.
Schenectady is turning into a huge dirty lunchcounter...poor paying jobs for people living in sub-par neighborhoods.
This blogger has been wrong about many "new stories". Most recently he stated a movie would be filmed in Schenectady-except it isn't happening.
Like the Army Reserve Center another non story that pretends that Death Ray and failed Metrograft is actually doing something about record County unemployment and lower sales tax revenues. A dirty lunch counter with nowhere to eat lunch. Death Ray has flushed million in taxpayer dollars on places that never even open.
