Ryan Gosling to star in movie set in Schenectady

Ryan Gosling and his Blue Valentine director, Derek Cianfrance, will reunite for the upcoming The Place Behind the Pines(which is one of the loose translations, from Mohawk to English, of the word ‘Schenectady’).
The pairs previous collaboration, Blue Valentine, is a critically acclaimed 2010 drama that debuted at the 26th Sundance Film Festival and has spawned best actor/actress nominations for Ryan Gosling and his co-star Michelle Williams as well as an Oscar nomination for Williams (the Academy Awards show is February 27, 2011).
It seems as if this movie, that is set to film and take place in Schenectady, is in the good hands of Cianfrance and Gosling.

Cianfrance mentioned only this about his new project, "I have a film called The Place Beyond the Pines, which is all about fathers and guns, and it has motorcycles and guns in it.

No, there is no racetrack in Rottedam. And anyways, 3/4 of the people in Rotterdam have them, so which one would it be at? |
