This was yet another piece of crap action by Stratton.

Now there's that Hotel Foster building.  Bought by the slumlord tax delinquent Alsdorf.  He deliberately didn't pay heat, causing the pipes to break in 1999,  causing over a million dollars in damage.   Kept the building but never put a penny into it.  Sat on it for these dozen years, then fights against having the buidling taken for unpaid taxes.

So, he's a big tax delinquent, but demands payment, and Stratton and the other savage cronies give into the scum bag.  The socialist team decides to rob the taxppayers and force them to pay $250,000 to be given to the tax deliqnuents.

And then the taxpayers are saddled with the over million dollar cost to fix the damages caused by the Alsdorf.  But STratton and company reward them wirth a quarter of million dollars.

So, I've been asking if Alsdorf and Todd ever paid the delinquent property taxes they they owed, after they were given $250,000.

No, they didn't.  But the delinquent taxes were paid.  Guess who paid them!   The taxpayers!!!!!!!!!!!!   AND the taxpayer paid Alsdorf & Todd's legal fees too!!!!!!!!!!!

Found this on Metroplex website from March 10, 2010:

Quoted Text
4.      Foster Building Project: Resolution 634-10 — Purchase 508, 510 512 State Street and 204 Lafayette Street

Mr. Gillen successfully negotiated with the owners, Dennis Todd and Craig Alsdorf, by offering $250,000, plus back taxes (about $20,000) and legal fees not to exceed $5,000. This would also resolve the EDPL proceeding against Providian Arms, LLC. Several housing developers have expressed interest in redeveloping this property. Mr. Lewis moved Resolution 634-10; seconded by Mr. McCarthy. Following discussion about the purchase and redevelopment scenarios, Resolution 634-10 was unanimously approved.

Alsdorf and Todd were laughing all the way to the bank.  And the savage socialist team are smug knowing they can just rob the taxpayers any time they damn well please.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Working together works! To fleece the sheeple taxpayers and then flee town one step ahead of the taxpayers with lit torches and sharpened pitchforks. Ala Mubarack. The whole corrupt house is fixin to fall.

Wait until you hear how shocked the new Mayor will pretend to be when he gets a good look at the financial ruin left by these DEM political pigs. Everyone was in the dark-no one knew from nuthin-everyone was looking the other way for 8 years. Blame Frank Duci again. It worked before.

Well everyone agrees that the city council and the county leg needs to be voted out. However.....will the 'new elected officials' really reverse the mess the liberal socialists have created or will they just take control of this empire for their own benefit?

The electorate has to ask questions and then ask more questions from each and every new candidate this election year. Once elected, the electorate must make sure that the 'new elected officials' keep their feet to the fire.

All schenectadians need elected officials with a vision and a plan on how they expect to reverse this mess.

FIRST ON THE AGENDA......ABOLISH THE METROPLEX!!

Let's not kid ourselves. The Gazetto even found a couple of idiots that would have voted Stratton again. After the pension padding, after the McClellan Street disaster, after his grubbing for $96,000 a year salary PLUS JEEP. They don't pay taxes and believed the news in the Gazetto. Stratton is gone but his party will continue to "govern" for 9 months.

Yes, many new faces are going to take office. There is a mass out migration of incumbent DEMS. Great! Make sure the newbies are against Metrograft. Demand that all businesses be put on the tax rolls and that large nonprofits {Ellis, Proctor's and Union} pay a fair share PILOT. Not just a one time pool fee. Demand that taxes be slashed and useless programs ended.

10,000 less making straw into brinks? This is only one example of crappy City/County "planning". Boilerplate, adding in the same phony numbers, complete manure, written by political stooges that should have been canned decades ago. Then you wonder why they carry petitions for DEM masters? Job security. The barbarians are at the gate. We are tired of oiling the torch and sharpening the pitchforks.
