Abortion was always available in the USA for the wealthy. What Roe vs Wade did was to make it available and safe for all women, not just those with wealth or power. Before Roe vs Wade, the poor or middle class would risk jail, or death while getting an abortion; the wealthy family doctor would preform abortions and label them a "d&c". Wealthy women would also "go abroad on vacation" while in reality they went abroad where abortion was safe and legal.
Repealing Roe vs Wade won't end abortion... it will just drive them back to the back alleys, raise the price, and once again take the life of women.
It has been available all over the world for the wealthy(just to save face)....Mr.Edwards little concubine is fairing well...and we could be having a different conversation about the infamous 'blue dress and cigar' scenario......

is getting the folks of the town to work together to have a great parks and recreational system.
Even if that means taxpayers lose their homes from paying high taxes????? YOu DO remember the SOCIALIST mayor of Schenectady who had to have a GOVERNMENT park.
What is more important???? Homeowner paying for heating bills or a bunch of druggies having a park? Homeowners having police protection or a municipal park?
When financial times are good, fine, spend money on parks AFTER THE NECESSITIES. Just like our household budgets. We pay for NECESSITIES (the replacement furnace, the replacement roof, food, medical) and then AFTER THE NECESSITIES we can say we have money to buy the swingset for the backyard, or a pool, etc.
But financial times are BAD, VERY VERY VERY VERY BAD. And in these times, we look at our household budgets. We pay for the NE CESSITIES FIRST (the replacement furnace, the replacement roof, food, medical) and the we say "there is no money for to buy a swingset (or replace the existing one). And the government must do the same, DV, provide ONLY NECESSARY service. People will NOT DIE if there is no parks or recreation system in town, in the city, etc. Quality of life issue? Well, I'd rather have a quality of life where my children can play outside without getting shot, rather than living in a crime ridden area but have fancy parks. It provides exercise? Just walk, one does NOT need tax dollars spent on a park, in order to get exercise. People walk through their neighborhoods every day for exercise and it doesn't cost taxpayer dollars

I'm saying the archaic Catholic Church just recently acknowledged that Galileo Galilei was correct, (that the Earth isn't the center of our solar system, as the Church contended; which took 300 years) ... so how long do you think it will take the Church to catch up with most Catholics who favor (and use)birth control.
How many abortions could be prevented if the Church promoted birth control instead of condemning it?
