Here's what the churches should pay-NOTHING. It is not that we are being taxed too little it's that the City spends too much. BTW, another idiotic cartoon in the Gazetto. If we had a real Mayor, who led and was respected, all this tin cup stupidity would disappear. But no one respects him. Especially in the nonprofit/religious community.

     Over in Troy, they get over $500,000 in PILOTS from RPI. But here Union finally comes off $40,000 and they jump for joy. Was at a big party last night. Many business owners and not one person supported another term for this Mayor. Get a fork ready.

When the leg. vote commences on more funds for the plex will be interesting to see where Bob Farley votes.   Was'nt he one of the plex architects?   Must be difficult for him to watch all this.

So far, both Farley and Amedore have never failed to be in favor of an increase of the Metroplex.  Interesting thing is, however, that George Amedore (or someone in his office) just posted to his FB page that they're going to start working on bringing to the table a change from a pension to a 401(k) type of retirement for legislators.  Can't wait to hear the debate on that one.

Let's see. They've been in office for what, 3 weeks.  Yet you've let the past two years go by without calling them "out" yet.

Let's not forget that the State Assembly is still 80/20 Democrat.  So, who should be out?  Last thing I knew, Sheldon Silver has been standing at the plate just a few years.

The GOP struck out ... and will continue striking out in Schenectady County and in State and Congressional races.

You may be correct...time will tell, but the state races aren't ready for the likes of the schenectady county dems.
Kosiur = fail
Santabarbara = fail
Savage = fail

And they failed miserably!!!

Santabarbara came the closest to defeating an incumbent from that Assembly District since Gail Schaeffer defeated Assemblyman Arlington Van Dyke thirty years ago.   If I was his campaign manager, he would have won the race.

What would have done differently, used Memorex instead of TDK?

But seriously, when I hear a guy who was trounced in his own race despite having a stupendous enrollment advantage talking out his A_S_S like that- I have to wonder if anyone but his elderly aunts take him at all seriously as an individual.

I did quite well considering it was my first try for elective office and had only a disadvantage when it came to the number of party lines.
And don't worry - loads of people take me very seriously, Joe.
