I told him there is no way he can win on a line like that alone...he just refuses to believe it...or that it wouldn't be a "Party"!
FDG is not a Democrat...the seat went to a Conservative...and the rhetoric suggests that the Democrats have not had the control over him they probably expected...Dirty Harry isn't a 'new' Democrat...and we don't need a Democrat to lead...new, old or otherwise...we need a conservative to lead, regardless of enrollment.
But watching these videos makes one wonder what brainchild in the dem and con camp thought he would be a good super? However, people can now understand how they sheltered him from public speaking or debating. FDG was set up by both the dem and con party....and they did it for their own political and personal motivations and agendas. SHAME ON THEM ALL!!!
That would be the last time I'd ever vote for a dem-o-cop candidate!!! Nor would I trust one AGAIN!!

Speaking of Mr. Supervisor, I wonder how he might be working along with the Town Highway Department. You would think with the Supervisor owning a new business at an intersection would be enough for the highway department to do something about the drainage at the intersection in front of his property... or maybe the Supervisor could do something with it, since it becomes a cement filled with water anytime in the spring with warmer weather or when it rains too much any other time of the year.
ROTTERDAM Spurned supervisor forms party for re-election run BY JUSTIN MASON Gazette Reporter Reach Gazette reporter Justin Mason at 395-3113 or jmason@dailygazette.net.
Supervisor Frank Del Gallo is making good on his pledge to run for re-election and he’s bringing his own slate of candidates along for the ride. Next month, Del Gallo plans to canvass for the 553 signatures needed to establish the Rotterdam First party. His effort comes after the Democrats under town committee Chairman Tony Jasenski spurned the incumbent in favor of former Schenectady County Sheriff Harry Buffardi in April. Del Gallo approached the Independence and Conservative parties for endorsements, but was shunned by both. Now he’s taking his message to the streets in an effort to collect enough signatures to get on the ballot. “We’re going to get an army out there and get it done,” he said this week. Joining Del Gallo on the prospective Rotterdam First ticket are Town Board candidates Dolores Doriguzzi and William Cooke, the former town Democratic Committee chairman. Jim Bradshaw will challenge incumbent Town Justice Kevin Mercoglan, while Larry Lamora will challenge longtime Republican Highway Superintendent Jim Longo. Del Gallo, a Conservative who switched his enrollment to Democrat in December, also intends to wage a primary effort against candidates endorsed by both the major and minor parties. And he’s confident that he’ll be able to gather a large enough war chest through fund raising to launch such an aggressive campaign. “I’m going to run a primary on all of them,” he said. Del Gallo’s political schism comes less than two years after one in the Republican Party that some credit for getting him elected. Some Republicans fault Conservative Brian McGarry for siphoning votes from then-incumbent Supervisor Steve Tommasone and allowing Del Gallo to narrowly edge him out in 2009. Del Gallo managed 3,460 votes on the Democratic and Conservative tickets to beat Tommasone, who secured 3,256 votes on the Republican, Independence and Working Families lines. Meanwhile, Mc-Garry garnered 1,451 votes on his independent party line. Rotterdam Democratic Committee Chairman Tony Jasenski doesn’t see Del Gallo’s independent line detracting from Buffardi or other candidates endorsed by the major party. He said the party was resolute in wanting to move Del Gallo off the ticket and believes his entering the race won’t be much of a factor. Along with Buffardi, the Democrats endorsed incumbent Wayne Calder and Mike Viscusi for Town Board, former Schenectady County Department of Public Works supervisor Vincent Romano for highway superintendent and Mercoglan for town justice. “This is about good government,” he said of the party’s choices. “We’re confident in our slate.” The GOP is supporting McGarry for supervisor, Longo for highway superintendent and Mercoglan for town justice. On Monday, the party named Joe Villano and Stan Marchinkowski as their candidates for the two board seats. Del Gallo said he’ll run on his record of accomplishment during his short tenure in office. He said his administration has gotten more done in the town in a year and a half than other administrations had done in the past decade. “We’re trying to get the town moving,” he said. Del Gallo also blasted the Democrats for serving the interests of the party and not town residents. He said his relationship with the party started to sour when he refused their suggestion that he support a taxpayer subsidy to the Rotterdam Emergency Medical Inc., the town’s not-for-profit ambulance service. .......................>>>>...................>>>>................................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01001&AppName=1
I'll say the same thing about FDG as I said about Mertz...FDG like Mertz was elected to the seat in a general election, he's the incumbent, he has every right to retain the seat HE was elected to. A committee of 50 Democrats or Republicans (in the case of Mertz) doesn't make the decision for 29,000 residents.
Good Luck FDG...The County Democrat party needs a shake up, they've controlled the county for the better part of a decade, and they've done nothing but suck the taxpayers dry and cater to their cronies like REMS. Now theirs somebody on the inside that KNOWS FIRST HAND what the County Democrats are all about.

He has already fielded complaints about the drainage situation. His response is that it is a county road, hence a county problem. Of course, the problem never existed until he built there . . . .
The Town DEMS are united? DVR is all wet as usual. Bring on the Rotterdam Pool Party. With enough cash to make it happen.
Frank Del Gallo is NOT a Democrat. The few committee people who voted for endorsing him (this year) represent less than 25% of the committee.
The overwhelming majority of the town committee endorsed the Reunite Rotterdam Team .. and are going to actively work to elect the team. We are having no problems raising money for this race ... we NEVER depended on any one parson to raise money in the past -- the FACTS show that Mr. Del Gallo gave NO MORE to the 2009 campaign than ANY of the other team members.
Bottomline -- THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS UNITED FOR VICTORY

And those accomplisments are??? Well, he did go ahead and get the senior center done... no, he farmed that work out.
Then, there's the little league fields, no, wait, ground's not broke yet, when he promised to do the work himself.
Can anybody tell me any of the things "his administration has gotten" "done in the town in a year and a half?"
And this is the same person who's looking to take a property off the tax rolls for a police station when we already have one that's been off the tax rolls for 23+ years???
At least we're spending more money on studies again. Feels like we're back in the Tommasone administration. Gotta study for everything, but we never actually take the test.

So, the committee was divided regarding the endorsement. It will be interesting to see how this plays out! Pass the popcorn.

His company erected the Golub Acoustical Wall, he opened Wagon Train Barbecue, and he got the Veterans Monument completed.
C'mon FDR and the all DEM bored managed to raise taxes,"handled" the REMS matter, and excelled in hiring incompetents from out of County. Don't say they haven't done nothing. The Pool Party won't take votes from the DEMS-lol.
