Someone is just jealous because they will never be as good as Saratoga Sweets or Krause's.

Gee-   The Gazette has printed lots of articles about proposed projects that have never been carried out.

Name one, I'm curious.

Cleaning out the city elements is like a county mandate to the surrounding hamlets....ieellvue,Mt.Pleasant, Rotterdam, Nisky, Scotia....

Like I said......it would have been better served in rotterdam. Although there are many vacant buildings in the city that could have been utilized just as well. Placing them on a two lane street that is almost impassable now, doesn't make much sense.

No one is jealous of anyone, and a smart person competes against himself in the measure of such success. If someone didn't, they would never make it in such a high-tax, business-hostile county, having the Schenectady mailing address.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

What the DEMS are doing is creating another welfare ghetto at the bottom of the Broadway hill. Right next to the Taj Mahal DSS. This will make it easier to apply for emergency relief, HEAP, food stamps, etc. A one stop welfare feeding frenzy. Close to 890 for commuting Bronx residents. Another huge cost on the oppressed County taxpayers. This proposal must be stopped. It's the wrong site, wrong time and totally unnecessary.

Right! Like Robinson's Square retail mecca where Gillen's Gulch now proudly squats. The Silver Diner, The Big House which according to Death Ray was only needing "finishing touches" for 4 years, Van Dyke 1 and Van Dyke 2, the chain book store that Death Ray said was coming Downtown, the toy store that Death Ray said was coming Downtown, etc, etc.

Here's a great location for the unneeded stunad YMCA housing- The old Grand Union in Niskayuna-on a bus line and closer to Gillen's, Finn's and Savage's property. This will generate much needed foot traffic for St James Square-lol.

Exactly! Why is the City building more housing when there are empty buildings on every street corner!! Like the old PC off Rosa Road, THE FORMER EMPTY DSS BUILDING ON NOTT, the empty Church on Eastern Parkway, the old Friendly's, the empty churches on Broadway, the Armory, half the property between Proctors and Scotia, the vacant properties on VanVranken (empty restaurants), ....why the hell do we keep building and building when thousands of empty and abandoned locations are EVERYWHERE!!!

They should move it to 2571 Albany Street.  It would be an improvement on what is already there.

What do ya think about Curry Rd. Plaza?  That would be a good location of the YMCA housing.  Don't ya think?

Right! But he's the only one. "This will generate more lunchtime foot traffic," stated Death Ray. Whether they have money for a purchase is another issue.

It's already a nightmare driving by the DSS Taj Mahal now these DEM morons want to add 165 permanent residents? A never ending drain on the County taxpayers, And the only complaint? They want to house 185 not just 165. We have the larger City Mission for this. Finally Bellevue neighborhood leaders have woken open. Too late on the DSS.

No -- great place for a new Rotterdam Municipal and Community Center.

At least we both agree, it should be something that doesn't generate tax revenue.

Landslide Savage wants to put the new County Home there. Working together works!

If the Niskayuna Grand Union is not feasible-try the Rotterdam Grand Union on Hamburg Street. This would be a win-win. The Y homeless men can revitalize the bus line and partake in the many services at the Rotterdam Senior Center. Enjoying free lunch, bus trips to casinos and occasional cookies. This would greatly increase "foot traffic".
