Cis what are you twelve?

The MORON is you. My post read "Is it directly Palin's fault--an empahtic NO.  But tht kind of crazy hate speech that you all love, and there are several of you who run around town with it spouting it, could end up being the reason some nut job whacko pulls a trigger on some politician.  Yeah lets have even MORE guns on the streets."

Maybe you are twelve and need help with reading comprehension...not to mention writing and manners.

Calling Cis 'twelve' just might be considered hate speech and inflame bad behavior!

Would a bad decision by Cis, be due to your hate speech?

Liberal socialists call it 'hate speech'.........the rest of the world calls it 'free speech'!

WHOA there partners!!!

What ever happened to holding the person for committing the crime responsible? Must everyone always look for a way to make the criminal the 'victim'?

This troubled nut job kid, acted out the crime and is totally, 100% responsible.....geeezzz!!!

Remember what your mother use to tell you......'would you jump off a bridge if everyone else did?'

And let's not forget.....All muslims should not be held responsible for the 911 attack........correct? They acted alone and out of their own twisted thinking....correct?

Come on folks.....This 22 year old is the ONLY ONE responsible for 'choosing' to pull that trigger!! To blame 'society' for someone's nut job, wack job personal decisions is ludicrous!!!

Exactly, the guy that did this is totally responsible !!!

Boomer jeez. I am all for the tea party, the origional one, not the ones that claim to be like Palin and others who lost elections than decided the Tea party was the way to go.

I attened the Tea Party in Albany and it was very patriotic brought tears to my eyes. And there were no hate speeches, there was talk of liberty, our constitutional rights, many of us had the American flag and the Don't tread on me flag. Many veterans were there from Vietnam on up. People of all ages and yes all colors, but the media does not report that of course.

Did you watch the lunatics video's ?  The rantings of a madman, they made no sense at all.

Some stations are reporting he was in a group that is anti American and anti Jewish. But just have to wait and see as the news is quick to report before all facts are in.

They had the Mom on the phone of the 9 year old girl that was killed : (  I cried through the whole thing. This young child was interested in politics, was the only girl on a boys baseball team. The reporter actually teared up and could hardly speak,, that is rare these days.

Again my prayers to the victims and families. All at the hands of a lunatic who should never see the light of day again.

If political speech is to blame, then I expect that bankers, Wall Street execs, wealthy earners, property owners, business owners, and people who inherit estates would regularly be targeted for assassination each and every day due to the hate, envy and vilifying words that come out of the left's mouth-  on blogs and on radio ads, newspaper commentary and in the mainstream media. But as bad as they despise and want to confiscate their wealth, impugn them and scapegoat them for all the world's ills, that does not happen. Why? Because the concept of free speech and political debate being the reason for a madman's acts is a joke and an overt politicalization of a tragedy.

Which we all knew would happen in about 3 second.

Wait, there wassssss this left wing guy named the Unibomber who was a rabid left wing communist and environmentalist...hmmm...But the media never blamed the left's innuendo for HIS insane bomb spree. So forget that comparison.

What's a matter Cis--truth and reality getting to you.   Your use of the f-word says volumes about your mental stability.  You own a gun?

What does his 2nd amendment right have to do with anything?

Top Five Causes of the Civil War
By Martin Kelly, About.com Guide

The Civil War lasted from 1861 to 1865 and led to over 618,000 casualties. Its causes can be traced back to tensions that formed early in the nation's history. Following are the top five causes that led to the "War Between the States."
1. Economic and social differences between the North and the South.

With Eli Whitney's invention of the cotton gin in 1793, cotton became very profitable. This machine was able to reduce the time it took to separate seeds from the cotton. However, at the same time the increase in the number of plantations willing to move from other crops to cotton meant the greater need for a large amount of cheap labor, i.e. slaves. Thus, the southern economy became a one crop economy, depending on cotton and therefore on slavery. On the other hand, the northern economy was based more on industry than agriculture. In fact, the northern industries were purchasing the raw cotton and turning it into finished goods. This disparity between the two set up a major difference in economic attitudes. The South was based on the plantation system while the North was focused on city life. This change in the North meant that society evolved as people of different cultures and classes had to work together. On the other hand, the South continued to hold onto an antiquated social order.

2. States versus federal rights.

Since the time of the Revolution, two camps emerged: those arguing for greater states rights and those arguing that the federal government needed to have more control. The first organized government in the US after the American Revolution was under the Articles of Confederation. The thirteen states formed a loose confederation with a very weak federal government. However, when problems arose, the weakness of this form of government caused the leaders of the time to come together at the Constitutional Convention and create, in secret, the US Constitution. Strong proponents of states rights like Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry were not present at this meeting. Many felt that the new constitution ignored the rights of states to continue to act independently. They felt that the states should still have the right to decide if they were willing to accept certain federal acts. This resulted in the idea of nullification, whereby the states would have the right to rule federal acts unconstitutional. The federal government denied states this right. However, proponents such as John C. Calhoun fought vehemently for nullification. When nullification would not work and states felt that they were no longer respected, they moved towards secession.

3. The fight between Slave and Non-Slave State Proponents.

As America began to expand, first with the lands gained from the Louisiana Purchase and later with the Mexican War, the question of whether new states admitted to the union would be slave or free. The Missouri Compromise passed in 1820 made a rule that prohibited slavery in states from the former Louisiana Purchase the latitude 36 degrees 30 minutes north except in Missouri. During the Mexican War, conflict started about what would happen with the new territories that the US expected to gain upon victory. David Wilmot proposed the Wilmot Proviso in 1846 which would ban slavery in the new lands. However, this was shot down to much debate. The Compromise of 1850 was created by Henry Clay and others to deal with the balance between slave and free states, northern and southern interests. One of the provisions was the fugitive slave act that was discussed in number one above. Another issue that further increased tensions was the Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854. It created two new territories that would allow the states to use popular sovereignty to determine whether they would be free or slave. The real issue occurred in Kansas where proslavery Missourians began to pour into the state to help force it to be slave. They were called "Border Ruffians." Problems came to a head in violence at Lawrence Kansas. The fighting that occurred caused it to be called "Bleeding Kansas." The fight even erupted on the floor of the senate when antislavery proponent Charles Sumner was beat over the head by South Carolina's Senator Preston Brooks.

4. Growth of the Abolition Movement.

Increasingly, the northerners became more polarized against slavery. Sympathies began to grow for abolitionists and against slavery and slaveholders. This occurred especially after some major events including: the publishing of Harriet Beecher Stowe's Uncle Tom's Cabin, the Dred Scott Case, John Brown's Raid, and the passage of the fugitive slave act that held individuals responsible for harboring fugitive slaves even if they were located in non-slave states.

5. The election of Abraham Lincoln.

Even though things were already coming to a head, when Lincoln was elected in 1860, South Carolina issued its "Declaration of the Causes of Secession." They believed that Lincoln was anti-slavery and in favor of Northern interests. Before Lincoln was even president, seven states had seceded from the Union: South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas.

Henry--the only attachment to his second amendment right is his apparent mental instability.  He is way out of bounds and I assume he is an adult because I know of a 14 year old who was on the this board and then got banned only because she was interested in left wing politcs.  Shame because that child is now almost 16 and is very interested in the Tea Party.  In fact her parents took her to the meeting in Albany. Kid always acted appropriately.  Error in the judgement of the board administrator.  So Cis who is throwing around the f-word looks worse than a kid.  Anyone with that mouth and anger shouldn't have a gun.  Next thing you know...

I have a hard time believing someone was banned just because of a different viewpoint. I haven't been here long but I do know there is some lefties here who haven't been banned for their liberal beliefs. Maybe you can send me some of her post so I can see for myself what happened, sound fair.

As far as his 2nd Amendment goes just because he strongly disagrees with a viewpoint of yours doesn't mean he should lose his rights. That would be no better than the girl you mentioned being banned for nothing other than disagreeing.

Our founding fathers were men whose government had placed a price on their heads for their ideas and their words; lest we forget the value of open and free debate and speech. It is something we take for granted as a God-given freedom of our American way of life. Let no tragedy shake our belief in that hard won right.

I listened to this insane person and am very concerned that he is making threats and demands. He must be repudiated. Whatever "repudiated" means. Of course, it is everyone else who has to make apologies, and repudiations. No one else but the conservatives, people who want limited government, people against the democraps, people on the right (the left makes "mild" statements) must make amends. Yes-Of course he did his own mea culpa for some statement he made that no one heard. However, this is all bordering on a form of mass hysteria at this stage, and we all know how hysterical (drug induced or otherwise) liberals are!

ITS PALIN'S FAULT! OMG! NOW WE HAVE TO GET THE REPUBLICANS OUT! LETS HAVE A RALLY CRY!!!!

I think the time has come in united states history, for parents to start paying attention to their kids while under their care. For the friends of kids/young adults who see 'strange' or 'unusual' behavior to take notice. It's time to place responsibility where it squarely belongs........THE FAMILY UNIT!

I'm sure that as the hours and days pass......the story will unfold and the tragedy will become more understandable, however, not acceptable. How many people saw this young adult's videos? Did his parents or siblings or friends? How long has his twisted thinking gone on?

If this were political in nature, the shooter would have shot the politician and ended it there. The kid/young adult, was obviously out to shoot 'as many people' as he could. If it was political in nature, the kid/young adult wouldn't have deliberately shot a 9 year old.

This was a tragedy...no question! But making it political, right out of the gate, with rhetoric and no facts, is totally irresponsible of the media! IMHO
