TUCSON, Ariz. — A Tucson mass shooting victim was taken into custody Saturday after yelling "you're dead" at a Tea Party spokesman during the taping of an ABC-TV town hall event hosted by Christianne Amanpour.

The Pima County Sheriff's Office said J. Eric Fuller, 63, was involuntarily committed to an undisclosed medical facility, NBC News reported. The Associated Press said he was undergoing a psychiatric evaluation.

He faces charges of threats and intimidation and disorderly conduct, according to Tucson TV station KGUN.

Is the media blaming this on Pima County Sheriff's left wing rhetoric?  Where's the press coverage on this?  The media creates this polarizing national tension, and then when the hatred begins to foment from their side, they suddenly start talking about Tanzania.  How convenient.  It's amazing!

Strock wrong; liberals are the ones who incite violent behavior

I take issue with Carl Strock’s Jan. 11 column regarding the immensely tragic and deadly shootings in Tucson, Ariz. It is clear that Mr. Strock intended to politicize this tragedy so as to not let a “good crisis to go to waste.” Leftist radical and street-level agitator Saul Alinsky would no doubt be proud of Mr. Strock’s communist-style effort to isolate, demonize, marginalize smear and silence political conservatives — especially when those conservatives are viewed by would-be elitists as dangerous counterrevolutionaries.
I would like to point out that it is the “government can cure all ills” cultists on the liberal “left” who are the true architects of violent acts. The violent ones are not ordinary gun owners whom Mr. Stock disdainfully referred to as “gun freaks.” The violent ones are not tea party attendees Republicans, or true Christians.
History clearly shows that it is the advocates of big government political-socioeconomic philosophies such as Marxism communism, socialism, Nazism and fascism who hold the world records for the mass murder of innocent civilians. Check the statistics in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Leftists do not like debate — they like to dictate. Leftists do not like to be questioned — they like to be obeyed. Leftists do not like opposition to their schemes — they deal with it with lethality.
The violent ones are not those who advocate adherence to principles of constitutionally limited governance. The truly incendiary speech and violence against mankind comes from the left — the total government end of the political spectrum.
If political rhetoric is becoming too shrill, vitriolic and potentially dangerous today, I ask, which right-wing, fascist, Republican thug, when referring to his political opposition, said “If they bring a knife, we bring a gun?” This low-class thuggish comment did not come from a Republican. Nor did it come from the mouth of Sarah Palin. It came from the mouth of Mr. Strock’s Democrat idol and president — Barack Hussein Obama.

There has been lots of press coverage on this incident regarding Mr. Fuller.  Don't you think after having been shot, his personality may haave become altered?  They did the right thing--incarcerate him and check him out.  He may be having a breakdown.

You don't think the top law man in Prima County public comments blaming the Tea Party for the shooting, may have influenced Fuller to direct his anger toward a Tea Party organizer?

So Fuller just randomly picked out the Tea Party organizer out of a whole room of people and said "your dead"?  What a coincidence.

You need to dummy it down for Cicero to get it!

Fuller was shot and wounded by the madman in Tucson just days earlier, takes a picture of the local Tea Party orgaizer and yells " you're dead", and you are saying that me linking his actions to the Sheriff publically blaming Tea Party rhetoric is equivalent to the left blaming Sarah Palin's rhetoric for the shooting?

You liberals were using deductive logic(or illogic) to conclude Sarah Palin and Tea Party rhetoric(WORDS) caused Loughner to go on a shooting spree.  But Fuller who was actually SHOT by Loughner, any the County Sheriff does multiple interviews blaming the Tea Party, Fuller threatens the life of the local Tea Party organizers for who the sheriff blamed for the shooting, that all of a sudden that is a stretch.

I don't know why I bother.  The liberals are self destructing on their own.

Great video Henry !  When gun laws are passed they affect the law abiding gun owner, criminals will always have guns, most purchased off the streets so they are not affected by any gun laws.

And as for the police protecting us, well we all know how that goes here in Schenectady. Once had a guy trying to break in my front door, had to call the cops numerous times while family members held the door so the intruder could not get in. By the time the cops showed up the guy was long gone. Now if I was home alone at the time the intruder would have made it in and I dont know what he would have done to me : (
