Donna - question to jan 1 did you spend $6500 on 3 woman who can't get a long?
Fdg - the law says we must hire that company
Nicki – Mr. Martin Mr. Parisi and myself never saw the report
Godlewski - the employee manual – section 902 or 903 directs the town to go to the HR director/ comptroller and use a independent. Consultant
Comptroller says you have no control of the costs
Nicki - the employees should have followed the chain of command and discussed the issue with their immediate supervisor not the supervisor With every change of management there will be new rules/ways of doing things We still don't have the report
Conard - you can discuss employee placements in public -as we are taxpayers/employees
Ron - if 6500 was paid shouldn't the board at least know the recommendation
OK, the residents are upset with the payment of $6,500 dollars to the consultant. Yet no one approaches the Board on Eunie's salary. As we know she is an elected officiial and only needs to work one day a year. But no one says the Board can't reduce her salary to $1 dollar per year. Why is there no outrage over the Board's reluctance to do this for the taxpayers? I guess they will have to be reminded in November . . . . .
Really AVON ! Not to mention her stipend as the Registrar of Vital Statistics who isn't there!
I even asked Tony J. a couple of times to urge his Aunt Eunie to stop ripping us off...to just do the right thing and step down.
AVON...come to think of it...I don't recall anyone ever asking the Board to reduce EE's salary, do you??
I only recently found out myself that it can be done and I know at least one current Board Member believes that it is past time for EE to resign precisely because she is collecting such a large salary for total absence...and honestly, I don't think they know this can be done...I don't believe I have mentioned it...although I don't know why!
Maybe it's time to formally ask the Board to consider it. EE would resign if she weren't collecting money for nothin' while she is in Florida on what amounts to permanent leave.
Mr. Farina got up to speak at the podium stating "that he was moved twice and didn't file any grievances"...
Someone needs to ask the question how many times Mr. Farina was insubordinate which is why he was moved twice. Mr. Farina no longer performs all of his duties at town hall ie: emptying garbage cans... because it takes him 2.5 hours to do it; however, the bathrooms are disgusting and the floors do not get vacuumed daily unless the PART TIME custodian does it.
From what I am being told first hand Mr. Farina walks around town hall and reports the goings on of the employees to the Supervisor. If Mr. Farina does not have the time to do his own job, Mr. Farina should not be allowed to walk around town hall and do nothing.

No one would care if she "holds her spot" for a dollar a year. I also expect that a certain degree of "professional courtesy" would be extended to her for a brief period, but this has gone on to long with no end in sight. She can finish out her term at a dollar a year, or come back to Rotterdam and perform the job you were elected to for the budgeted salary. Either way seems fair to me. Town Board members are elected to represent the residents, now would be a good time to do some of that "representation", IMO.
I can't wait until he treis to run for office. The dems will NEVER let him run for it!
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
Now Jack S. is on the S-list big time with the democraps!

I'm wondering if you have insider information. I've heard rumors that the current admin has been considering doing this...they know that they need to address the situation but were holding off for the present because they would rather that our Clerk step down voluntarily. That way, she would (sort of) leave on her own terms. I'll put this on the proper thread for comment.
