Both Brian M and FDG flee the CONS party? I hope FDG gets a better reception from the DEMS than Brian got from the REPS.

It don't matter anymore. Rotteramians have to look outside the political box and look to the independent candidates. Rotterdamians are not going to vote for another liberal socialist and are tired of waiting for the reps to get their act together..........IT'S THE YEAR FOR INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES.

Screw the major parties! IMHO of course!

Agree. All of this musical chairs is going to help one party only the NNTP! They will go Countywide. The more candidates the easier for Brian M to win Supervisor. He's is gaining support .

See yous at Canali's for Brian McGarry's bash on January 20th!

Someone is giving him advice to wage a democrap primary, yet he will not be a dually registered democrap. Bad advice.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Come on  .. Kelly is nice person.  I may disagree with her on a few occasions but she is actually
more tolerable than many other folks.   You could even say that I have a certain fondness for
her zany antics.

ROTTERDAM
Del Gallo moves to enroll as Democrat
Town chief has no comment; election official confirms change

BY JUSTIN MASON Gazette Reporter
Reach Gazette reporter Justin Mason at 395-3113 or jmason@dailygazette.net

Supervisor Frank Del Gallo has switched his enrollment to join the town Democrats.
Del Gallo, who ran as an independent on the Democratic ticket in 2009, enrolled with the Conservative Party shortly after winning the election. But last month, he apparently decided to switch again.
“We processed his change of enrollment in December,” said Art Brassard, a commissioner with the Schenectady County Board of Elections.
The change, however, won’t take effect until after the election in November. This means Del Gallo will need to follow the same process he did during his first run for offi ce if he decides to seek a nomination from the Democrats.
Del Gallo still hasn’t indicated whether he’ll run for a second term, or whether he’ll seek a nomination from the Democrats if he does. Calls placed to his office in Town Hall and cell phone were not returned Thursday or Friday.
Tony Jasenski, the chairman of the town Democratic Committee, was surprised to hear about the switch. He said there’s been no discussion in the committee about Del Gallo joining the party.
“It’s never been discussed to my knowledge,” he said Friday. “I’m a little taken aback.”
Both major parties typically wait until the spring to make endorsements. Third parties often wait even later. ................................>>>>..................>>>>.................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01100&AppName=1

Well, FDG's decision to flip to the dem party, makes one assume that the cons want to run ND (also a registered con). And to avoid a con primary, IF FDG chooses to run again, he would best serve the con party by exiting it. Will the dems endorse ND, Calder or FDG?

Now the million dollar question........who will the reps endorse? A con (ND) or a rep (one of their own BM)?
