RECIPE FOR A JOYOUS HOLIDAY MEAL FROM THE ALTERNATIVE GOURMET
WHOLE ROASTED REINDEER WITH CHRISTMAS ELF STUFFING

This recipe has been around for many years in many fashions
but in recent years for some reason has fallen out of favor.
Here we shall return to a true classic dish of alternative
fine dining.

The list of ingredients is as follows

1. 1 reindeer, appx. 125-175 lbs., skinned, dressed (though not
in a tux; ha, ha) and head mounted if you so desire.
2. 6-9 Christmas elves cleaned and finely diced, appx. 8 lbs.
useable weight.
3. 8 lbs. celery, finely chopped.
4. 8 lbs.  onions, finely chopped.
5. 8 lbs. carrots, finely diced.
6. 1 gallon vodka to numb the elves before you peel them
  and dice them.
7. 32 lbs. dry bread crumbs.
8. 3 gallons chicken stock.
9. .salt, pepper, to taste.
10.Fresh garlic, 1-6 lbs. as you desire.
11.3-4 gallons of olive oil for basting the roasting reindeer.

A.Saute' the onions, carrots, and celery in a large pan,
using some olive oil, until tender. B.Brown the diced elves
in the same pan until lightly browned. C.Mix the vegetables,
elves, bread crumbs, and the chicken stock, season to taste
with pepper, salt and garlic to taste. D.Stuff the dressing
in the reindeer, then sew the deer shut.

As for roasting the whole reindeer; it is usually difficult
to find to an oven large enough to do the job. So you will
have to be creative. My personal favorite is to prop the
reindeer up on a neighbor kids wagon. Then roll the whole
shebang into the local grouches garage and set fire to the
garage. If you can keep the local fire department at bay for
3-4 hours the reindeer will be perfectly done.

This recipe will serve 175-225 hearty alternatively
inclined diners.

P.S. Never hunt elves in the same area each year. They have
long memories for such little beasties and they won't fall
for the vodka trick twice in two years.

I thought Mayor SOS knew what to do with snow? Another snow job.

Avoid the City like a plague. Aside from a few major streets the City is untouched by plows. This is what happens when you elect someone who's only job experience was answering the phone at State Senator Patterson's office.

My Christmas surprise for all the people who post on this website -- if you are on my
good list .. you will get a gift certificate to the Metroplex funded gin joint of your choice;
and for those on my naughty list ... I am sending some fruitcake.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and MAY GOD BLESS US, EVERYONE

So far, no one has enquired as to which list they are on --- so I am sending all the fruitcake to Kelly's house.

I'll take the governmental gin mill coupons. At the risk of getting a stale fruitcake-has St A's decided on a PILOT yet? If so-what amount? I thought I read you were a YES! but so far nothing. Maybe like Union College you will be chewing on it until February. So far 2 yes-157 no comment to the Mayor's bold "initiative".

OK, so I'll bite, and here's why.  If I'm on the fruitcake list, well, we can figure out something to do.  If I'm on the list for the gift certificates, at least I can get some of my tax money back by taking the gift certificate.

We gave a donation to the city several years ago.   We haven't had a Pastoral Council meeting since
November and the next one is scheduled for January.   Given that we have several other more pressing
issues on our agenda, I think it is highly unlikely that we will take up the issue at that meeting.

That's what I thought. We will put you in the NO! column with 99.9% of City nonprofits. No need to call the printer again that makes the big show checks for City Council meeting. This is going as well as every other Mayor SOS initiative. Hot air with no results.

It is neither a no nor a yes - we will take up the matter once we resolve some other important items on
our agenda.

BT--you wish Ritano had the seniors shuttering so you wouldn't STILL feel guilty about your unethical and vengeful move to oust her from the only real human services director the town ever had.  YOu still feel guilty because you babies trespassed on her proerty and she called you on it.  Shame Shame.  Now she just might start her own party the No New BS Party...a Real Change for Rotterdam. LOL.  BT give it up--your ideas are outdated, your memory poor, your assertions libelous and you are just disconeected from the community, your party and the senate.  You were a blowhard in office and that is your only strong-suit.  You were lucky Paolino and Marco and the seniors didn't knock your block off in those days...Don't waste your time blabbing on here that Ritano is still upset--she had the last laugh and in another two months will have the final laugh.  Yup she's gearing up now for the No New BS Party...a Real Change for Rotterdam.
