Okay DVR you are a bit over the top with your sappy blog "love letters."  I find it a bit uncomfortable and trust you are not using a "friend" for some ulterior motive.  That wouldn't be cool.  Not sure of your intentions but you sound like a phoney baloney.  IMHO

I don't use friends for ulterior motives.  I have never asked for anything from my friends nor do I ever
intend to.
I stand by my previous comments ... while I have many acquaintances in local politics .., I count Tony J
as one of the few  (less than 5) that I consider among my friends.

Really? Besides Tony, what other public official openly supported the unnecessary tax?

My statement stands ... I fully support EVERY public official who publicly supported REMS and the
NECESSARY ambulance tax.    I believe that my statement is crystal clear.

You need to do your own research.    I would charge you too much to for the info,

thanks Gadfly, hence he should have known and put a stop to Jimmy's continued abuse of power.  He was a police officer that should have protected the innocents not the guilty.  I don't understand why he didn't.  The truth of that situation has never been made public.  If it were, then I could let it rest.

I thought Nicky D supported the tax district?

Protecting the innocent probably would have jeopardized his own aspirations.

DiLeva did not support the new tax...but I heard she let REMS put up their sign because FDG literally ordered her not to. ND's goal in
this process was for the vote to be as fair as possible to both sides.

Another non-answer...you could make a fortune on those.

I guess Tony is the only candidate you'll be supporting...good luck getting any other politician to publicly support your scam
tax...they didn't have the spine to do it before the elections...or the referendum vote...they certainly won't do it now...especially
after its overwhelming rejection.

That is a laugh -- because I don't have any aspirations -- the only folks who keep saying that I
am running for something are all on the "dark side".   I am quite content doing my work for the
town committee and for the parks commission -- beyond that I have no immediate plans to run
for anything.

And even if I did, I don't pull punches just to curry support .. I say what I mean and mean what
I say ... and I certainly don't need anyones' approval to say what I say.  That is the great thing
about not being beholden to anyone.

The problem with DVoR, Gadfly is DVoR made it crystal clear, you can't handle "the truth" as to who openly supported REMS

I know who you are .. and you have some serious problems.   Quite frankly life has
been more enjoyable since you stopped talking to me.

Don't forget the former city assessor who made headlines over allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a teenaged boy.  Republican appointment in Rotterdam when the alledged happened.  Right under Signore's snozzola.  How about Joe S. former goomad who got busted in the Town Hall and charged with two felonies. Under Joe S snoozola.  What happened??? Joe and the GOP looked the other way.........So Cicero spare me the self righteous candor about bringing things to light.  This happened after Jimmy C.  So stuff it!

Don't forget the former town assessor hired by Jimmy C. that was allegedly fired from his state job for bookmaking.  I guess you have to be good at numbers to be assessor.

You keep on making my point for me.  Everybody you mention was convicted.  No cover up.  One even arrested at Town Hall!  If we had an honest police department, Jimmy would have been dragged out of Town Hall and cuffed and stuffed.  There wasn't 13 years of Signore or Tommasone.  They were both taken out by their own party.

By your own admission, there was a "sercet file" on Jimmy at Mohon that prominent Democrats were keeping a lid on.  I'm not being self righteous, just connecting the Rotterdam political dots for some forum members that may not have been around during those 13 years.  Feel free to bash the Republican politicians, since I'm not a registered Republican, so I could give 2 sh!ts.

You REEK ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......

It s interesting that "certain people" are upset that certain names were not on my list for
a fantasy or dream town board  ---- they assume all kinds of nefarious and hidden meanings ---- the list
was just for fun to reminisce about some of the past persons that have served.

The fact is I was looking back (during my lifetime)at people that had served on the town board or who should have served on the town board.   The names of the 3 women came to mind immediately ... and I admit that I had forgotten Arlene Gallucci ...
so if I had remembered her name at the time she would have been on the list.  Also, I should have added
Ralph Salerno and Barry Gray names to the list.

I had not intended to include any current members -- but added Matt because I sincerely believe
he has a great future.

There was no intention to slight any of the current members of the Town Board but given the reaction of
"certain people" .. all I will say is that I am glad that I now know the true colors of "certain people".
