Uh, WHY would they be bonding it?   Metroplex projects are funded by the extra sales tax.  Have they overspent?

YES! As sales taxes tank, no one repays and their operating expenses go up their cupboard is bare. They have around $2 million on hand and they will not commit to any new projects. A complete flop. A County taxpayer ripoff and cornerstone of the working together farce. Look for Metrograft to attempt to have their debt ceiling raised-AGAIN! Hopefully our Assemblyman will show some spine this time around and say NO!

Why is Metrograft even involved in this? No one except SCCC wants this building. This is what happens with an obvious conflict of interest. Here come the SCCC dorms-needed or not.

Uh, DV, explain.   Homeowners have needs to fix up their own houses.  Tell us WHY should homeowners have to foot the bill for the Y as well????????????

DV, neighborhoods need to be rehabilitated, not just the decrepit abandoned houses, but there is street work and sewer work and watermains that need to be fixed BEFORE tax money is given to the Y.

Money needs to fund the fire department before tax dollars are given to the Y

Money needs to be spent on effective code enforcement before WASTING in on the Y

Tell us DV, tell us when the neighborhoods get fixed up????????      Homeonwers don't have the money to fix up their own houses.  They are paying their own taxes AND the property & school taxes for the downtown business, AND they are paying HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS to fix up downtown.  Then, comes the code enforcement telling the homeonwer they have to fix up their house.  Can you tell us DV, where is the homeonwer supposed to get the money from???????   How about if YOU fork over some money so people can fix up there houses

Suggestion...Get a membership at the YMCA gym and skip the Mallozzi smorgasbord.

Uh, DV, don't you think that money should be spent on schools instead of the Y????????    Or do you favor wasiting money on the Y while kids fail school and then they sponge of the taxpayer dollars like you sponge off of relatives

I guess some folks need to go back to school and learn how to read.  Metroplex can NOT spend
money on schools.   You would have to be totally oblivious to reality to suggest that Metroplex
should be spending $2 million on public schools when it doesn't have the legal authority to do so.

And to make matters worse -- these same folks seem to think it is ok for charter schools to siphon
off tax money from our public schools --- these folks either CAN'T understand or refuse to understand
basic facts.

As the Schenectady Renaissance begins to move down Lower State and along Erie Blvd  --- I am excited
about the future of our great county.

Happy Days are here again.

I don't know whether to puke, scream, laugh or just have pity on DVOR after that post. Some combination of all would be the normal reaction of a sensitive person.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

This is probably the biggest waste of money yet for Metroplex.

Until someone shows me a plan to where that building rehab will lead to commerce generating tax revenue in one form or another...  it's insane to waste the money.
