That is exactly how Sue SaVAGE runs the county meetings! Maybe the well heeled ladies of Niskyuna will throw HER OUT next chance they get!

The lady that was acting as Speaker was clearly being coached from the sidelines and was in way over her
head.
It has always amazed me that we pay our Representatives and Senators  (and BOTH parties are guilty of what I am about to say)   .. but how many of our Representatives and Senators actually spend anytime on the floor
of their particular legislative body?

I am reminded of the time when I was a junior in high school and attended a New York State Assembly
session  ....  our group was up in the gallery for over an hour  .. on the floor was a long debate on an
important bill  (I forget which one now .. but it was a heated debate at the time) .... afterwards we went
to speak with our Assemblyman at the time .. Arlington Van Dyke (he used to run a car dealership in
Middleburgh)  --- When asked about the debate that had just gone on ... Mr. Van Dyke seemed clueless ...
had no idea what we were asking him about   ( to make matters worse .. he had voted in favor of the bill
when the debate ended .. but couldn't seem to recall how he had voted or why .. and as I already said ..
couldn't remember what the bill was about)

I have known a number of members of the US House and US Senate and state legislative bodies in NY
and in other states  over the years ...    I can honestly say that of those ... I can count on 1 hand the
number of them that I would trust to take care of one of my houseplants .. let alone run my state or my
nation.
