SCHENECTADY -- Police arrested two Schenectady teenagers who were allegedly behind two robberies in which a pellet gun was used, though the victims believed the weapon was a real gun.
Around 5 p.m. on Monday, two males tried to rob a man in the parking lot of Aumiller's Pharmacy, 1340 State St., according to police. The robbers put the gun to the man's head but the man fought them off, said Officer Michael Crounse. The robbers fled.
At 8 p.m., two males also approached a man on Campbell Avenue near Fairview Avenue and pulled out a gun. They took the man's keys and phone and ran away. Police found two young men fitting the description of the robbers at the corner of Broadway and Shannon Street, Crounse said. Police found keys and a phone on the teenagers and a pellet gun nearby in the bushes.
The victim of the 8 p.m. incident identified the males as the robbers, police said.
Arrested were Miles H. Latimer, 16, and a 15-year-old juvenile, whose name is being withheld because he is a minor. The teenagers admitted to the robbery and attempted robbery, Crounse said. Both were being held overnight for arraignment.

Hey DV, YOU said Schenectady is MUCH improved.
The chief is busy with this armed robbery, he has no time for stories about marshmallows in the fire |

Aumiller's is really one of the nicest locations at that State Street area. Too bad the vermin are running around over there.
More Schenectady teens on the fast track to the prison system. Wonder why the High School is on lock down several times a week? |

And DV says people are just going to be moving to Schenectady in droves for this.
Oh, but he doesn't move to the city he speaks so highly of.
I think he's a mouthpiece for Savage & Gillen. He wouldn't dare speak anything in opposition. Perhaps he's hoping to get some patronage job.

In case you haven't noticed........intelligence isn't required to be a liberal socialist! You just need to say HEIL HITLER after they pull your puppet strings!! Simple as that! |

Liberals think if you take enough money from hard working middle class taxpayers and redistribute it to people who are rich and live in compounds and villas, and people who don't work at all, all will be wonderful in the world! Ahhhhhh! It must be nice to live in dream land! |
