We'll have to be watching these houses, see how long they are listed for sale before being taken off the market due to NO BUYERS.
And then those who cheer for higher taxes will be prancing around saying houses are selling, but of course will not provide any proof whatsoever. Actually the hoiuses will "sell," they'll be sold back to the city for tax foreclosure or back to the bank for mortgage foreclosure when the owners mortgage payments go up because of the tax increases.
But of course, the dem sociaists favoring government funded gin mills and such, don't have the intelligence to distinguish between "sale" when a bank takes a property back and sells to some entity that is then charged with trying to sell it somehow, vs an open market arm's length purchase (the latter of which occurs when one makes a choice to buy a house in the city, however, there are few of those)

There was a house on Rankin, the guy had to sell it, couldn't get any takers with a price in the sixties, had to let on of those "I Buy Houses" guys have it for $35,000.
That 12 Morris Ave was listed march 5, 2010. It also has not sold
That's Suzy Savage's "miracle."

I'm surprised being as those houses are so close to the 2 block miracle downtown. Oh yeah, to get there first you gotta make it thru the "gauntlet", aka Eastern Ave.
McMayor should advertise in areas like Guilderland...Saratoga....Clifton Park....colonie.....loudonville......perhaps they would just love to move to SCUMNECTADY and enjoy the low taxes, low crime and a stellar school system!!!
