 According to just released State Labor Dept stats Schenectady County is Number One in unemployment in the Capital District {again}. This does not make any sense. SS Savage claims to have created 3,500 new jobs. ANG claims to have created 3,500 new jobs. Death Ray claims to have created 3,500 new jobs. With all of these alleged job creators how come County unemployment keeps rising? Great job SS Savage's unified County development crew. Keep up the "work"! With all of your efforts we should soon be Number One in the State. Free burritos all around. |

The liberal socialists can paint any picture they want. The truth is that the dss and unemployment offices are busting at the seams. People are walking away from their homes because they can no longer afford their taxes. GE plot homes are being sold at action. How many buildings are 'off the tax rolls'? How many businesses are 'tax exempt'? You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool 'all' of the people 'all' of the time!  |

 When is the pathetic Gazetto going to report on the Stratford Rd foreclosure auction? This does not conform with their "all is good" mindset. Look for another soft soap of this horrible employment data. How come area counties with no Metrograft tax nor "unified development crew" are doing much better? You are right to bring up DSS blocking traffic on Broadway. This is another DEM con job. Death Ray promised the Bellevue residents that there would be no front door with all traffic routed in the back. But who cares? Another hot dog job created due to the huge crowd at the DSS building. |

After 10 years of Metrograft and 35 years of DEMS running the City into the ground Schenectady has emerged as a leader in deficits, unemployment and pension padding. Maybe in another 35 years DEMS will finally get it together? It's the high taxes-stupid. |
