Christie/Palin or Christie/Brewer(az.)

However....I like Palin! She is truly and energizer and people can relate to her.....she's human and carries a great message. Presidential material??? Time will tell!

Brewer, clearly does not waffle about her issues. She is dead on and focused. But the opposition will nail her with being an 'immigrate hater'!

imho

Sarah's hit show is on TLC {40} not the Travel Channel {43}. It's premier was the most watched show on basic cable. Check it out Just For the Halibut this week.

Everything Sarah Palin touches turns into ratings gold. Ditto for Bristol. As far as Presidential experience, the bar is now set so low, she would be over qualified. If the REPS were smart they would run Gov Christie. This could be another 49 State landslide.

your right it is on TLC .. but we watch it up in the High Def channels -- around 1844, I believe

Evan Bayh seems like a really stand-up guy.  Unfortunately he'd probably have more luck running as a Republican in the general election.  The uber left will not let Obama lose a primary.  (But Obama would get decimated if Bayh ran as a Republican in the general.  But that's not going to happen so it's moot to even discuss it)

All I will say about Evan Bayh's potential candidacy is this --- he has support in very high places.   If he
announces that he is running - that is a signal that some very high placed folks have "changed horses" and
Obama will be a one term president.

Barbara Bush: Palin should stay in Alaska
Former first couple give Larry King opinions about Tea Party, son's book

msnbc.com staff and news service reports
updated 11/20/2010 11:51:53 PM ET

Former first lady Barbara Bush says she hopes Sarah Palin stays in Alaska.
In a preview for a Larry King interview to be shown Monday on CNN, former President George H.W. Bush and his wife, Barbara, are shown addressing topics such as the Tea Party influence, the former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate, and their son's book.
Asked for her read on Palin, Barbara Bush responded:
"I sat next to her once, thought she was beautiful and I think she's very happy in Alaska — and I hope she'll stay there."................>>>>.....................>>>>...............http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40295984/ns/politics/#

Latest survey shows that  Huckabee, Romney, Palin, and Gingrich are in the "top tier" of contenders for
the 2012 Republican nomination.    Huckabee and Romney out front .. but Palin and Gingrich not too
far behind.

13 months until the Iowa Caucuses.  14 months until the New Hampshire Primary.

"Sarah Palin's Alaska" set a TLC ratings record when it debuted to 5 million viewers last week, but the second episode showed a huge drop-off in viewership.

Episode two of the Palin reality show averaged just 3 million viewers, down 40% from the previous week.
The show averaged just 885,000 viewers in the 18-49 demographic, and the median age of the show's viewer is a whopping 57 years old, that's 15 years older than TLC's median age of 42.

Older persons are more likely to vote than younger voters -- so the #'s cited seem to suggest that she is
more popular among older voters .. which would actually bode well for her potential candidacy.

I like Palin to raise money, get out the voters , support conservative ideology but not as a candidate for president at this time and I'm older than dirt.

Palin supporters are the Tea Tootin Party... another group that is disproportionately older, whiter and male.

They did a pretty good job on Nov 2. Like it or not, she's influential - she attacts donors and she gets the message out.

Palin would be a terrrible President... What would she do at a Press Conference if Katie Couric showed up in the press pool?

She might not be the best candidate but she would be better than what we have now.
