Look, I think the world of Eunice, I really do. I just think trying to accuse someone of "conspiracy to commit fraud" and other felonies is a stretch. But who knows, if there is something and the FBI has been notified, then it will come out in the wash I would think. But for that to happen, someone would have to go to the FBI. Otherwise, I imagine their plate is full with terrorism issues and such. I wish Eunice the best, but I am not holding my breath that there will some indictment of Parisi or Surprise or whoever else you are accusing of this criminal conspiracy. If you want a criminal conspiracy, you should look at metroplex. |

The point is that those who many allege to have conspired to bring Eunice down could be charged with felonies -- Eunice's mistake was a misdemeanor. Felony convictions can do horrible things to people with are licensed to practice law or serve as assessors.

Assessor leaving post reaches deal with Rotterdam Monday, November 29, 2010 By Justin Mason (Contact) Gazette Reporter
ROTTERDAM — Rotterdam Assessor Craig Surprise will receive a payout of roughly 20 percent of his annual salary plus dental benefits for parting ways with the town next year. In an agreement reached with Deputy Supervisor Robert Godlewski and narrowly ratified by members of the Town Board this month, Surprise will receive a cash payout of $12,800 for “sick leave, vacation leave and personal leave” he accrued as of New Year’s Eve, the date of his formal resignation. The assessor will also receive one year of dental benefits at an estimated value of $1,536, according to the agreement misleadingly marked “confidential.” The town also agreed to compensate Surprise for three work days in September and to indemnify him from any lawsuits arising from his employment in Rotterdam. In exchange, Surprise absolved the town of other legal liability during his short two-year term as assessor. The agreement has angered among some board members who blasted Godlewski and Supervisor Frank Del Gallo for reaching the accord without allowing them to see the document in advance. The agreement with Surprise was a last-minute addition to the board’s agenda at the end of the nearly four-hour long meeting on Nov. 10, even though Surprise had signed the agreement seven days earlier.................>>>>..............>>>>.............http://www.dailygazette.com/news/2010/nov/29/1130_surprise/

"Indemnify him"? WTF! Another working together works special. This could cost taxpayers/sheeple a fortune. Judging by the picture next to the story he is not taking this very well. |

Well at least now perhaps ND & FDG can get their assessments lowered. That is what they campaigned on....dumping Surprise and lowering 'their' taxes! Step one......accomplished! Now on to step two........... |

I guess DVOR aka Ron Jeremy was just a little wrong about there not being a contract for the current assessor. If there was no contract, there would have been no payout needed. Love ya Ronnie Boy! Come back to the blog! |
