Great review Graham but don't confuse him with facts. One of the funniest is the $1 MILLION State grant for 440 State to "revitalize" Downtown. They tried to sell art there but couldn't no buyers. No one wanted to buy the "art". They relocated the "artists" months ago to the empty Proctor's arcade. Now Mercury Morris is fixin to announce a sale! Finally getting this total flop back {backed by State taxpayers} on the City tax rolls! Hooray?

I say that if you want to see how much extra spending there is in the county of Schenectady, you have a great picture of it sitting there for you, just look at Proctors.  Every single thing that goes on there is a picture of government largess and overspending.  If you can't run a business like a business, get OUT OF THE BUSINESS!

Morris/Proctor's yanks Key Bank off the City tax rolls and then refuses to pay any PILOT. Now he's opening a catering hall that will tank other private businesses? With his other hand he grabs the community TV station putting that under DEM stooge control. Worse-nobody says nuthin. There is no Joe Suhrada demanding an end to this taxpayer black hole.      The horrible Mayor refuses to put 2 and 2 together. Because of the expansion of tax free nonprofits he can't afford to properly staff the City police and fire departments. His latest another waste of time. Nothing will improve until the DEMS that imploded the City are thrown out of office.
