BTW - it was not Mrs Savage's children that came trick or treating from Niskayuna  .. although they are most
welcome to come trick or treating.

My grandmother always said "there is always room at the table for more people" and that is the philosophy
that my family and I have tried to live by.    

I will admit there are a few folks  -- Mertz and Surhada pop into my mind -- who are not welcome .. but if
they were really hungry and had no place to go -- I'd put a couple pop tarts on a paper plate by the end of
the driveway for them.
