If that's true, what DV said that Schenectady is "much improved," then explain to us DV how come Schenectady residents leave the city to do their trick-or-treating?????

Hmmmmm?    Can  you answer that?

We are in Rotterdam, we've already had about 100 kids, most of them with a beat-up car moving along with them, an adult who is rather unkempt looking, and the kids hardly have costumes but have their dingy pillow cases in hand.

My parents, who are in what would be a safer area of the city, have had two kids today, that's all, and they have said they get less and less each year and the past couple years have not even had more than a dozen---warm nice weather and people leave the city for Halloween.

Explain how leaving the city for trick-or-treating is reflective of an improved city.  Obviously it's quite the opposite.  Schenctady's streets have gotten persistently more dangerous, police services are being cut, but your Savage woman is handing out big bucks to the millionaires.

Hey, is she going around dressed as some savage today?

We've had some kids from the city here today too and I don't blame their parents for letting them trick or treat in a safe area instead of having to dodge the gun fire down in the city.

We had trick or treaters from Niskayuna here at the house ... so by your logic  .. we should vote AGAINST
Hugh Farley and Bob Farley then --- because both Farleys represent Niskayuna and the trick or treaters LEFT
Niskayuna to go trick or treating in Rotterdam.

Yeah, you know, the people running businesses in Schenectady are sure that things are getting better also.  I went yesterday to pick up a coat that was getting repaired at the tailors.  They were supposed to be open until 5, but when I arrived at about 4:40, the owner of the shop was closing up.  Her reason?  She was afraid, in Schenectady, to walk home in the dark, as she was afraid of the possibility of being mugged.  This was on Broadway at the top of the hill.

I also have a friend who had the same thing happen, was mugged for her paycheck on the other side of town (Crane / Chrysler area).  The mugging was not reported to police.

The fact is these things stay in people's minds and it is part of the issues that people do not find what they need here in town, or it's not open at the hours they need it, een if the sign on the door says the establishment is supposed to be open.  This is how working together works... to close businesses and make people afraid to walk the streets.

Sad, sad, Schenectady.

I once lived off Helderberg and I moved because it wasnt safe anymore.  I have a child and for a while, there was a level 3 living a few houses away.  Yes, there are a lot of kids on that street and they put this jerk there.  There were a couple of homes that were abandoned there but they have since been bought and fixed up.  But there is a drug house there and I didnt feel it was safe anymore.  Cars getting broke into, Damage to the vehicles including tires being slashed.  College age party house on the street.  I lived there for over 10 years and this is all recent in the past year or so.  Its going down hill fast there.

Yeah, and I'm sure they wore signs that said "we are from Niskayuna," and that's how you know where they are from.  If it was a fancy car, it's probably a drug family from anywhere in the city

Ummm, yeah, because the impoverished residents of Niskayuna can't afford Halloween candy.
Do not trick or treat in Niskayuna, there are no Snickers Bars there.
Only level 3 sex offenders laying in wait.
And we all know how political a 5 year old kid can be.
They just WILL NOT eat candy that a Democrat has given them.

I live on a pretty nice block in Niskayuna, and there were a bunch of homes that were decorated for Halloween (which would suggest that trick or treaters are welcome), and none of us got more than a handful of them, despite the fact that in the 30 years I've been living here, there has never been a violent crime, and certainly not a child abduction.

We live in a nation where a certain bunch of people make a whole bunch of money by scaring you.

Savage took her brood to the house that DV rooms in---reward for support.  Wonder why she didn't take them in the city neighborhoods

You are a pathetic excuse for a human being.   You hide behind your screen name and make all kinds
of libelous comments about other folks.   Go crawl back into the hole you came out of.
