Cops: Rape victim described attacker STAFF REPORT Published: 03:28 p.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2010
NISKAYUNA -- Police have released a vague description of the man suspected of raping a woman near the intersection of Balltown Road and Nott Street East overnight Friday.
The victim described her attacker as a 5-foot-10 black male with a thin build and curly hair, police said.
Police said the woman was walking home from Schenectady when the suspect, who was on a bicycle, approached her near the intersection of Van Antwerp Road and Union Street. He then engaged her in conversation and continued to walk with her, police said.
When they reached the area near Balltown Road and Nott Street East, the man got off his bicycle, grabbed the victim, pushed her between two buildings and sexually assaulted her.
The victim then walked home and contacted police.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Niskayuna Police Department at 374-3159.

I said that Schenectady County is in a renaissance .. has turned from a downturn into a situation where it is making progress. Also, I said that there is still a lot of work to do. Trying to make a political issue of a horrible thing like this incident -- shows how low some people who post on this blog are. You would need a 100 foot ladder to climb UP to reach the gutter.

Well BT there you go again. There are "street" people and then "people on the street." Street people are often homeless and DON'T usually do the damage that people hanging around looking for trouble do. Do you only paint with a broad brush?
