Do real research before voting for candidates

I hope to be very careful in making an informed decision during this election season. Our right to vote is precious, as many have fought to maintain it for us. It deserves the respect of our attention when our time comes to exercise it.
The energy in the air for this upcoming election is amazing. More people than ever are angry and upset and they want to use their vote to make a difference. My hope is that the voters will take the time to really use citable sources to research the candidates one and all.
A citable source means something that provides you with an illustration of proof via authority. Meaning, do not read the candidate’s site alone or trust the word of someone at the lunch table. Take that extra step and look at the time in offi ce, the committees the candidate is on, and then compare their resolutions to the point of the committee and gauge from there. If the candidate is not in office and has no policy experience, then look at their language and how they communicate, and their work history. Communication is a big part of the job.
Each of us has used research to help us make decisions in our personal life to buy a home or car, or plan a vacation. It is important that we take the time and use our skills to look at all of the candidates.
