People I know have gone to Guiderelli's Lee's Trophies and First Class Products. Banners from Diamond Graphics, wood from Friend's lumber and Bellvue, and templates from Ray sign. People I know wouldn't even buy out of the county because they understand that you need to spend LOCAL!!!!!!!!!!!   KEEP THE TAX MONEY AND REVENUES HERE!

You are correct in part. There are also many people that go beyond the rotterdam boarders to shop. Actually, there are many that will travel beyond schenectady county boarders because they are so piSSed at their local government. They see the 'chose few' getting their palms greased while their taxes continually go up. Schenectady county taxpayers have been lied to for over a decade and are showing it with their purchases and their feet. And it is obviously showing in the Savage/Santabarbara election.

#1)    I am all in favor of supporting local business people -- however -- Channel 6 did fail to
tell the WHOLE story -- the whole truth.     Amedore may have gone to a local printer -- but the actual
signs were made OUT OF STATE.

#2)    I strongly believe that if Mr. Santabarbara had gone to a local printer --which would have cost more --  then Channel 6 would have run a story -- "Assembly candidate is careless with money .. spent too much
on lawn signs".
Candidates order the lawn signs directly via the internet -- to save money  .. which in turn means
that they have to raise less money from special interest groups and other donors.

BTW -- Mr. Santabarbara did use Vincy's to print his palm cards ....

so Channel 6 and the Regressives  ------>>>   tell the WHOLE truth and nothing but the truth

Plenty of company's print these types of signs locally, end of story......

As for signs and the past threads about theft, what happened to all the signs in front of the old grocery store on Hamburg St? Was over there the other night and noticed they were all gone and there were alot, just one remains a big Ang sign, did the owners take them down, thought the town owned the property on the street???? Somebody call the sign police.......

What's funnier the DEM out of State nonunion signs or the lame defenses? No wonder they are both sinking like stones in every poll.

Both these races are OVER. This is the last straw. Whoever is running these DEM campaigns should be tarred and feathered. They are wasting their comedic talents on politics. Some DEM machine? ROTFLMAO!!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

My brother in law said he saw a guy picking them up to mow the lawn. Same thing with the little triangle by Mallozzi's. Even the getty station at 5 corners. I heard people say they look much better now that they are gone!

Typical DEMS! They raise the County sales tax from 4% to 8.25%. Then when they have to make a major purchase run out of State, to avoid the tax they hiked. They like talking about buying local.

The local printers do NOT print the lawn signs locally --- they farm out the actual printing to the few out of
state companies that actually have the equipment to print the lawn signs.

As for the big plywood signs -- they may technically violate sign ordinances because they are bigger
than what the code allows.

Bottomline --- News Center 6  either intentionally or through poor reporting did NOT tell the WHOLE TRUTH.
No wonder so many area residents tune them out.

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!! Matthew's Signs, 830 Eastern Ave is a local sign shop. They make lawn signs and have been in the area for over 30+ years. Have you ever been in Schenectady DVOR or do you just say how great it is without knowing anything about the many familiy run businesses in the City. Guess if it's not tax exempt or in downtown, DVOR doesn't know about it.

Matthew Signs, Vincy's, even Parcel Post Plus in Nisky makes signs locally. Of course, that isn't the point. The point is that the profits stay locally. How do you create a  job? By increasing profits allowing risk takers to hire more.

But these machine DEMS still don't get it. They are to used to running unopposed with fossil rhetoric. No wonder the REPS will take back the State Senate, Sen Farley will win in a landslide, Amedore will win in a landslide and the REPS will pick up over 70 Congressional seats.
